Once you activate and deactivate the panels where is the battle area?

You should go straight down through the center area, go all the way until you hit the end, and there should be two gates at the bottom of two sets of stairs leading to an open square with a bit of water in the bottom. One of the gates is closed, one is open. Go through the open gate and the battle should instantly begin.

Ok my next question is how the how the hell do u get there? lol i tried following instructions and i opened gates 3 and 10 like it says but then there was water and i couldn't get to gate 1 and so on..so can someone throughly explain what to do exactly! no links to other sites i have tried.

In that map/guide it says as soon as u go in to open gates 3 and 10 and i do so but then i can't get to gate 1...and gates 4 and 11 are already off so wh does it say de-activate them...

Hm?
I wrote "activate the panel" not "open the gates", because activating a panel means to close the gates. So when you activate the panels, the gates will close, and you can get to the #1 panel! :)
