Most Hated Characters!

I didn’t know where to post this thread so i just posted it here anyway the question is who is the most hated Final Fantasy character?

In 7 it seems to be most people don’t like the flower girl (she didn’t bother me!)

In 8 its squall he didn’t bother me either even though he was anti social you found out why and he wasn’t a bad guy.

In 9 its probably that swamp creature quina or something very weird

And in X its Tidus for me he is the most annoying character in the series his voice the way he acts like a girl he’s everything a hero shouldn’t be.

No character will ever be more deserving of my eternal hatred than Squall. He deserves to be beaten like a red headed step child, chained up naked on the Rack(Torture device that pulls really hard in 2 directions.)

Also, his eyelids are to be cut out and eyedropers placed over his eyes to keep his eyes hydrated so they don't dry out.

Mirrors will be placed all around him as he is now forced to watch a man make many cuts over his entire body with a rusty scalple.

He will be pulled off and saved just before he dies, only to suffer through the agony of tetnis caused by the rusty blade.

The remainder of his time will be spent in an empty black abyss, where the echoes of people thinking horrible things about him are the only things he can here.

Yuffie cause she's @#!#!%$ :skull::skull::skull::skull::skull:. Who should have been left to the devices of Don Corneo, cause it's what she deserves...

and Yuna, cause her lack of any real personality and the game's insistence to put her into the center of the story is what fundamentally killed this game for me.

Definitely, the most hated characters are male protagonists with slightly feminine appearances, less than manly voices, and/or flawed personalities that fans can pick apart and use to justify shallow reasons for despising them. I'm referring to Squall and Tidus, but I see Vaan increasing his rank among them.

FFVI- Gau, I hated him sooooooo much.
FFVII- Aeris, she existed for the soul purpose of complicating things.
FFVIII- I hated 95% of the characters in this game... excluding Selphie (Traaaaaaaaains...)
FFIX- Garland, for giving Kuja a time limit, Kuja was freakin' awesome, but he died, because of a time limit.
FFX- Brother.
FFX-2-Paine, and Yuna. I mean Yuna's personality went from Good to utter crap.
FFXII- The characters don't have much development, that get's me angry at all of them, but I didn't like Vossler from the beginning.

I'll can see the annoying. But Quina is hardly useless. In fact he's quite usefull with things like Mighty Guard, Auto-Life, Limit Gauntlet. and Lv. 5 Death.
I didn't use Cait Sith really, So I can't vouch for his abilities.

I know you hate them, but Quina at least is Hardly useless.

Oh, sorry... I think I was half-awake when I posted. I can elaborate, though...

Bikke the Pirate - hate his accent, and he's just overall annoying.
Guy / Gus - he feels so out of place compared to the rest of the cast, not to mention the way he speaks...
Lionheart - He abandons the party for no real reason, and gets mellow-dramatic about it later on.
Emporer Palamecia - he wants to rule the world for no apparent reason.
Cid - just... annoying.
Yang - also simply annoying.
Galuf - again, same as above.
Exeath - by far, the worst Final Fantasy villian ever. I really hated all the slapstick drama and farce that made Final Fantasy V so unredeeming. Exdeath was just the tip of the iceberg.
FFVI cast - just... not my taste. They're so... under-dramatized.
Cait Sith - I like having some comic relief from the main story, but Cait Sith is a bit overboard for me.
Red XIII - has such a serious persona, but it doesn't seem to play out well... especially because he's a talking wolf, and it's hard for me to take that seriously sometimes.
Bugenhagen - he postures himself as a wise old sage, but is really more of a source of comic relief. It doesn't mix well, to me. Also, where are his feet?!
Vincent - he's so dramatic, but it all comes off as insincere. I guess the developers wanted him to have this sort of "cool, mysterious" aura about him, but it just comes off as fake and over-dramatized.
Irvine - probably the least developed character of FFVIII. Irvine doesn't have any real issues, other than a bit of underlying inconfidence. It's like he has no place in the party.
Ultimecia - hopefully, I don't need to explain that one.
Seifer - Seifer is just over-the-top arrogant. That's to be expected with a villian, but he carries it too far.
Raijin - just... no.
White SeeDs - they're too arrogant. They think their affiliation with Edea makes them better than other SeeD groups. It just annoys me for some reason.
Steiner - Steiner is wreckless, relentless and over-the-top. It makes the first half of FFIX so tedious sometimes. I prefer following the story -- not worrying about what sort of cruddy situations the main characters are going to side-track me with due to their wrecklessness.
Tidus - ...
Wakka - same as above.
Seymour - I feel like too much of this should be speaking for itself. Seymour was just a bad villian. That's all I can say.
Jecht - he has the most annoying nature. I can't really explain why.
Tidus' mother - same reasons as Jecht, sort of. In the short scene where you do see her, she seems so uninvolved in Tidus' life, because she's too caught up in her affair with Jecht. What kind of mother is she? We may never know...

I'm too tired to go in-depth. But keep in mind -- all of this is just my opinion. :p

In FFVII, the usual characters that I noticed to be hated were Cait Sith and Yuffie - and for fairly good reasons. I liked Cait Sith's personality because he was happy-go-lucky, and quite silly. I didn't like fighting with him in my party though. Funny looking characters don't sitn well with me.

In FFVIII, I didn't hate anyone per-say, but I didn't really like to use Irvine.

In FFIX, I must say Quina. I can't STAND Quina. However, he/she can become very powerful if you give it a chance. Still, I don't really get exactly what Quina is meant to be and it looks absolutely absurd. At least Cait Sith makes sense as being a toy with an AI.

In FFX, Tidus annoyed me to a certain extent, but I didn't hate him as a character. No offence to all you guys in the US, but what people believe to be a stereotypical American is what Tidus is. Actually, most Americans I've spoken to are not really any different to anyone else, but the stereotypical view that most people have fits Tidus. Does that make sense? I'm not being nasty or anything, I'm just saying an awful lot of people see Americans in a particular way when many of them aren't like that, but that Tidus is subject to that view

Also, Rikku. She annoyed the heck out of me. In X-2 she dresses like a slut! It also took her forever to have any kind of use in battle. In addition to that, besides all the other character's personalities, none of them had any differing abilities and very little depth to them. So, in a way, they all got on my nerves in one way or another. You know what I mean right? It's not love/hate it's a matter of both liking and disliking equally for me in that game.

As for the earlier games, I've played IV, V and VI. I can't think of a character I really hate in them.

There are honestly only two characters in all the FF games that I utterly despise: Algus from Final Fantasy Tactics and Seymour from FF X. Algus, for what it's worth, was quite honestly one of the biggest douchebags in that game, and for a game that had its share of characters like that, I find that saying something. Seymour, meanwhile.....is Seymour. He was uninteresting, did very little to really show himself as evil except for the murder of all those Ronso, and I genuinely just couldn't find anything all that great about him as a villain.
