Resident Evil 2 - how do I get the *BEST* rank?

I started playing RE2 the other day, and I always wanna get the best results in any game I play.
Therefore, I was wondering how to get THE Rank in this game?
I guess I should avoid all kinds of saving, First Aid Sprays, Two-Slot Items and super weapons, right? :rolleyes2

Play on normal, don't use any first aid sprays, don't save more than twice, and beat it in under 2 1/2 hours or so. The time to beat it is the only thing I'm not totally certain of, so look that up on gamefaqs.

Want the absolutly best rank?

Beat the game in under 2:30 total time
Don't save at all (it can be done, trust me)
Don't use any first aid spray (red/gren herb mixes can still be used)
Play quickly, menaing don't dawdle. You don't need to kill every zombie in the room, save ammo and just run past them.
Try to take a slittle damage as possible
Save ammo
Kill things as quickly as possible or don't kill at all
