To get to my student teaching on time I have to get up at 5:15am every weekday. I want to die. JUST PLAIN DIE.

What time do you have to get up for work/school/whatever? Or do you not have any obligations that require you to get up at a regular time?

O__O; I would die if I were you.

I get up at 7:30/8:30am depending the day during the weekday that is. I need at least a half hour for my shower and then a half hour to commute to class. I tend to always be late, usually because I take ten minutes longer to get up and do not compensate for it, plus I tend to check my messages while I get dressed.

I usually get up at like a little after 6 to get ready for work. But lately I've been getting up at like...7. But it's not like it's a big hassle. I just take a shower at night instead. Shower was the only reason I got up early anyways.

Last semester my first class on MWF was at 11 AM. I woke up sometime between 9:30 and 10:30.

This semester my earliest class, again MWF, is 9. I'll have to get up at like 8:40. :(

I don't sleep too well, so I usually go to be around 1 and wake up around 5 or 6.

Once a month, I'll work all Friday, until about 1.00 A.M. Go home. Go to sleep. Wake up at 3 A.M., get up, drive back to the site, load up my stock, and drive to the market where I'll sell my crops and whatnot until late afternoon.

Then I do sleep all night long, which, I must add, is AWESOME!

I have bad sleeping habits. Very bad. I usually go to sleep around midnight or so. And then I get up at 5 for school. I could easily get away with getting up at 6:20 or so. But I like to be up early. I am both a night owl and an early bird at once. I like getting to school by 6. Even though it doesn't start until 7:30. :p

at my school, most kids have six classes, but me being the badass senior i am, i don't have a first or second hour. tardy bell rings at 9:25, my alarm rings at 7:30, i get up at 8, half an hour to get showered/dressed, leave the house around 8:45, it takes about 20 minutes to get to the school depending on traffic, and i just chill in my auto class for the remainder of the time that i'm not supposed to be at school. :D

I used to get up at 5.30, because I was supposed to be there for 9. But there was plenty of people getting in for 9.30, who lived nearer than I did, an I had to listen to them being told the same things I'd already heard, because I was there on time. So now I get there for 9.30, an get up at 6.30 instead. Fortunately I only have to do that two days a week. But it's still a terrible hardship.

I never wake up any later than 7:30 regardless of if I have things to do or not. I can't stand sleeping past that.

It's 8:30 as I write this, and I've already been up for over an hour... and today's my last day of break. XD

As for school, I rarely have class before 9am. This semester my earliest class (my only scheduled class, actually) is at 10am. But I like to give myself plenty of time to get ready at a leisurly pace, and I'm a morning person anyway, so I'll be up at 7am regardless!

I have to get up atleast an hour before I intend to leave the house and atleast 2 hours before I need to be in work. I start on mondays at 9 so I have to be up by 6:30 which isn't too bad (apart from the fact my normal bed time is like 2 - 3 am sometimes later than that) Then you got Tuesdays I start at 8am so I have to get up at like 5 in the morning which is brutal to the senses when you've had like 3 hours maximum sleep. I've also got plenty of overtime going on when they can ask me to start at any time from 7am onwards which could mean I just can't go to sleep some nights.

On Tuesday mornings I get up at 8am.
On Wednesday mornings I get up at 8am.
On Thursday mornings I used to get up at 11.30am but I now have driving lessons in the morning so I get up at 9am.
On Friday mornings I get up at 8am.

However, as I might be leaving College to go into Full-time work, if I get the job I applied for I'll have to be up everyday between 7.30am-8am. :jess:

My Health and Social teacher was telling me today, that there is something to do with hormones in your brain that stop teenagers from working well if you get up to early in the morning (regardless of what time you went to bed the previous night). They reckon that teenagers should start working around 10am ish for this is the optium time and i thinkk the British Government are taking this into consideration and maybe changing the time Schools start.

When I'm at placement on the hopsital:
Early shift: 5.45-6.45 (depending onif it is a 7 or an 8 o'clock start)
Late shift: 11am
Night shift: about 4pm

Uni:
7.30

The fun part of my job is I can have all three of these shift patterns in one week plus uni... thus the reason my body is in a permenant state of jet lag. Being a student midwife is fun!

Currently, I wake up an 7:20am for school. Usually, everything I need for school is already in my room, such as my backpack, books, clothing, coat, shoes, etc. so I only take about 10 minutes to get ready.

Then I'm out the door at exactly 7:52am, because I figured out through trial and error that that is the latest I can leave the house at and still catch the bus (on average).

When people at my school tell me they wake up at 6:30, 6, 5:30 etc. I cannot even begin to wrap my head around it. Getting up at 7:20 is almost murder for me

M'kay, My middle school starts at 8:30, bus gets at the stop at...uh...7:40-ish a.m. I have really bad sleeping habits. My bedtime (yes, I have a bedtime) is 12:00 midnight. I never go to sleep at this time because of two things: I'm an insomniac, and I'm usually caught up in an RPG. I wake up at 6:30 a.m-7:15 a.m just in time to shower, and get to the bus stop.
