Strange Monsters...

In that Sochen Palace (where you beat the mandragora things), there were two frog type monsters coming down the hallway I entered. All of a sudden, one of the frogs hit the other twice. Turns out it was confused, but no one cast Confuse on it, that I knew of... that was strange.

It was just funny to see a frog hit another frog from behind.

It's not like the Wild Saurion. That thing actually has its 'Cannibalize' attack with raises it level, just like Preying Mantis.

And a another thing... it just looked strange when a Preying Mantis ate another Preying Mantis, at least when Wild Saurion does it to a wolf it looks normal! The mantis part was weird.

There are also two frogs in the Barheim passage whom one of which is usually confused.
This is the area that leads to the rare mimic(one screen before the rare mimic). Just two frogs, level 15~ i think.

A frog hitting another from behind ? Are you sure they were fighting ?

It's not that strange. Some monsters attack each other all the time. Like in Zertinan Caverns, the Skulwyrm and the two Gorgimeras that attack it in the screen just above Athroza Quicksands.
