I'm reading a Game informer right now and this Blue Dragon Game is looking Awesome.

I'll try to get some pictures to post up later if I can, but this is what I've gathered so far.

-It's going to be using a more traditional Turn Based Fighting system.
-The Characters Shadows transform into strange Shadow Creatures for the fights. Their attack animations change depending on the job.
- Nine job classes have been named. Sword Master, Black Magic, White Magic, Support Magic, Barrier Master, Assassin, Monk, Guardian, and Jack of all Trades.
- The Main Characters Shadow beasts include (Based of what they look like in the Pictures) A bull, A tiger, a pig, a bird, and something I can't make out.
- You get a Female Pirate named Zola on your team.
- The main Villian is a creepy looking Old man who Also uses a Shadow beast that looks like a Dragon.
- It appears to have no real inovation in teh battle system, which will be kept traditional.
- Your Shadows can equip any skill you have learned from any Job, though their Skill slots are more limited than yours. Essentually it seems like a revamped version of FF V's Job System, at least thats what the Magazine compares it to.
- There are things called Legendary monsters, which Are likely the Super Bosses in the Game.
- Based on the Pictures, you use All Five Characters in the fights at once.

This Game is starting to look very promising. I'm really starting to look forward to it.

Also, December 7, 2006 80,000 copies were sold in one weak in Japan, making it the fastest selling 360 game in Japan.

I was actually reading that issue a week ago when I went to Barnes and Nobles. The game does look interesting. I'm gonna give this game a try. Plus, I'm a huge fan of Akira Toriyama's artwork.

I apologize for crappy quality now, as it was taken from a Cell Phone.

My expertise on this game is limited, having only played it for 15 minutes. The 'Solidifying shadow' thing looks interesting. I remember when I played, I managed to pull of a special skill where the shadow detached from Shu and got its own legs, and did this big elaborate attack. If they can actually do that outside of special techniques, that would be really interesting.

Traditionally, I hate normal turn-based battle games. But this one definitely had me entertained, and I'm also a Toriyama fan. Been looking forward to this for a while.

Keep the Japanese voices on the disc, Microsoft~!

If they don't include an option to turn off the apparently extremely annoying voice that tells you you can play every time the character is controllable, I might pass up an opportunity to play the game altogether, or simply play it without sound most of the time.

Also, anyone who wants to actually see what the game looks like can find plenty of art and screenshots at IGN, Gamespot, etc., or on Mistwalker's official site. (http://www.mistwalker.info/)

As we can see by this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fZzvictVFnA&mode=related&search=) video, The dragon, and most likey the other shadows, can break off the owner. The dragon looks so much more pimp while it's broken off :)
