I was on the World of Monkey Island forum, and I found a hilarious link: a pirate translator. (http://www.syddware.com/cgi-bin/pirate.pl)

I thought you would all find it quite funny; you can actually use any typed text, or even the URL of any site and paste it in a field on that link, then have it translated to the exact words a Pirate would use. :D Unfortunately it doesn't work perfectly on all sites...

For example don't use it on any Eoff link, it completely screws up the page with blank white background and all it translates are sigs (mine was translated to "Give me a Thunder-Scallywagging Usernote").

EDIT: I don't think you'll be able to link to your expiriments with the URL translator. I'm pretty sure Bunny just tried to but ended but repeating my original link. Try copying and pasting excerpts from your translated URL's into a quote instead if you want to post any of your translations.

Th' earliest documented incidence o' sweet trade be th' exploits o' th' Sea Swabbiess who threatened th' Aegean in th' 13th century BCE. In Classical Antiquity, th' Tyrrhenians an' Thracians be known as gentleman o' fortunes. Th' isle, arrr o' Lemnos long resisted Greek influence an' remained a ha'en fer Thracian gentleman o' fortunes. Th' Latin term pirata, from which th' English "gentleman o' fortune" be derived, derives ultimately from Greek peira (πείρα) "attempt, experience", implicitly "t' find luck on th' sea". Th' word be also cognate t' peril. By th' 1st century BCE, thar be gentleman o' fortune states along th' Anatolian coast, threatenin' th' commerce o' th' Roman Empire. When Sulla sank t'Davy Jones' locker in 78 BCE, Julius Caesar returned t' Rome as a lawyer, prosecuted Sulla's supporters, an' headed t' th' Greek town o' Rhodes t' study oratory. Gentleman o' fortunes seized control o' th' vessel in 75 BCE, kidnapped Caesar, an' held th' lad's fer ransom. After purchasin' his freedom, he assembled a wee army which captured th' gentleman o' fortunes an' crucified them. Th' Senate finally invested Pompey wi' special powers t' deal wi' sweet trade in 67 BCE (th' Lex Gabinia), an' Pompey after three moons o' naval warfare managed t' suppress th' threat. In th' 3rd century, gentleman o' fortune attacks on Olympus (city in Anatolia) brought impoverishment.

Among some o' th' most famous ancient gentleman o' fortuneerin' swabbiess be th' Illyrians, populatin' th' western Balkan peninsula. Constantly raidin' th' Adriatic Sea, th' Illyrians caused many conficts wi' th' Roman Republic. 't be nay until 68 BCE that th' Romans finally conquered Illyria an' made 't a province, endin' the'r threat.

Early Polynesian warriors attacked seaside an' riverside villages. They used th' sea fer the'r hit-an'-run tactics - a safe place t' retreat t' if th' battle turned against them.

Translator fails to deliver user friendly behavior.

Yeah, this isn't really good. It just gives a pirate phrase for whatever you type from what I can tell.

I didn't bother trying the text translator, but when I tried translating some URL's I got some results that I found quite funny, so that's why I started the thread. Trying to translate a few typed sentences, I agree, probably isn't that great, but try translating a news article, and it becomes quite hilarious IMO.

Pink Floyd: Th' $250 Cargo holds o' Piece o' eight Question

By Shane Handler
August 11, 2005

In 1982 Don Henley spake "hell would freeze o'er before th' Eagles would play together again." Sure enough, th' apocalypse nerearrived an' th' Eagles be deliverin' the'r feel-good California rock twelve voyages later in one th' most anticipated reunion tours ever.

But who would be havin' thought Pink Floyd would reunite? Thar be better odds o' Barbara Streisand marryin' Tommy Lee than seein' Roger Waters an' David Gilmour spit ou' "Comfortably Numb" together on stage.

But sure enough 't did happen, when a Pink Floyd reunion stole th' show at Live 8 last moon in London. That's starboard, all four members tookst th' stage together, minus o' course th' mysterious "be he alive or dead" recluse Syd Barrett. In Live 8 terms, 'tis pretty common knowledge that Pink Floyd leaders David Gilmour an' Roger Waters be seein' about as eye t' eye as George Bush an' Bono in an elevator. But thar be Waters, along wi' Gilmour an' Nick Mason an' Rick Wstarboard performin' "Breathe," "Treasure," "Wish Ye Be Here" an' "Comfortably Numb" t' a world-wide audience.

An' th' occasion be a benefit, so they weren't in 't fer th' treasure, but rather a worthwhile cause that both Gilmour an' Waters actually did be seein' eye t' eye on. Th' two Floyd leaders be playin' fer third world communities whose idee o' "Dark Side o' th' Moon" be far from th' second best-sellin' album o' all time.

If Waters an' Gilmour can be seein' eye t' eye fer less than an hour, maybe G8 leaders would make a larger financial commitment t' th' relief o' poverty an' aid t' third world countries. Although th' two played th' performance without e'en makin' eye contact, thar's nay denyin' thar be a musical "chemistry" on stage. E'en Live 8 organizer Bob Geldof be quoted as sayin', "'tis easier t' get th' horkin' G8 t' do anythin' than gettin' Pink Floyd aft together."

When th' four last played at Earl's Court in London in 1981, shortly before Waters would leave th' band under tension tied circumstances, MTV be only 2 moons old, Michael Jordan had jus' graduated high school, John Lennon's Double Fantasy be th' Grammy winnin' Album o' th' Voyage an' Princess Diana be preparin' t' marry Prince Charles. This latest reunion wasn't th' late 80's Momentary Lapse o' Reason tour or th' early 90's Division Bell tour, 'ere Waters be replaced by Guy Pratt, who coincidentally be married t' Wstarboard's lass Gala, an' therefore his lad-in law. Thar be nay extravagant flyin' pigs floatin' into th' audience an' nay million-piece o' eight light show that made th' band look an' sound like apostles. In this 2005 refined stage settin', we be able t' be seein' how wee hair th' 59 voyage old David Gilmour now has an' how much hair th' 62 voyage old Waters be blessed wi'. We noticed Rick Wstarboard looks more like a journeyed novelist an' Nick Mason looks like a cross between a Monty Python actor an' Dudley Moore.

Tucked in shirts an' gentlemanly appearances aside, these guys could ben high level executives wi' Exxon. Sure they all look proper now, but they be once young, wild an' "ou' thar." Havin' penned such classics as "Shine On Ye Crazy Diamond," th' epic album Animals, an' the'r spacey Meddle era music that be filmed inside a 2,000 voyage old empty amphitheater in Pink Floyd: Live at Pompeii, 'tis hard nay t' ask, "be 't really these same guys that pioneered progressive rock? "

Ever' song be nailed at Live 8, as th' performance could be havin' put th' famous Floyd co'er band Th' Machine aft t' coverin' Led Zeppelin. The'r version o' "Comfortably Numb" in particular further augmented th' fact that Gilmour laid strin' t' perhaps th' greatest rock squeezebox solo ever. Waters graced th' song wi' his asylum echoin' vocals an' 't felt like 1979 again. An' "Wish Ye Be Here" further afted up its legend as one o' th' most simplest yet purest rock songs ever. Sure they rehearsed, but like any 60 voyage old hoppin' aft on skis after a break, thar be goin' t' be a bunch o' ugly spills an' form along th' way, but them tumbles be hard t' find. Gilmour, despite th' Mr. Clist top, still looks buff an' ready t' tear through his catalog o' killer solos - aye ye know them all - "Time," "Shine on Ye Crazy Diamond," "Be havin' A Cigar," "Atom Heart Mother" an' "Dogs" t' jus' name a wee. An' Waters, he's nay soundin' too bad hisself as he gears up fer th' release o' his full-on opera Ca Ira.

Since th' Live 8 appearance, Pink Floyd record sales be havin' increased by 300%. I canna imagine thar be any swabbies port that didna already own Dark Side o' th' Moon or Th' Wall. But maybe they weren't buyin', jus' upgradin' albums that signified early journeys an' significant moments growin' up. U2 an' Springsteen be better office reference points t' connect wi' yer stiff boss or party-guy co-worker, since after all, t'ain't Pink Floyd a band fer stoners? But wi' 25 cargo holds o' albums sold world wide, that's about 50 cargo holds o' red one good eye t' keep Visine thrivin'.

Sure ye can turn th' radio dial anytime o' tide an' stumble upon some bored corporate brainwashed DJ blarin' "Another Brick in Th' Wall" in between " I Canna Drive 55" an' "Tom Sawyer." But go aft an' try ou' Atom Heart Mother, Animals, or Meddle fer size. Give 1994's Th' Division Bell another shot. Maybe e'en listen t' Dark Side o' th' Moon while watchin' Th' Wizard o' Oz if ye haven't tried that internet folklore yet.

Th' band recently turned down a whoppin' $250 cargo holds o' pieces o' eight t' resquadron. $250 cargo holds o' pieces o' eight??? That would be enough t' field a New York Yankees baseball team under George Steinbrenner an' feed Zaire. Waters an' Gilmour dasn't e'en need t' talk t' each other t' pull this reunion off. Motley Crue tookst separate tour buses on the'r reunion tour. Tommy Lee an' Vince Neil probably dasn't know what each other's favorite drink or sexual position be these days. Who says Rog an' Dave be havin' t' know each other's scotch whiskey o' choice?

Rogers clearly dismissed any possiblity o' a tour in a recent Rollin' Stone interview 'ere he be quoted as saying: "I dasn't really need 't. 't would be a very hot ticket. That spake, I didna mind rollin' o'er fer one tide, but I couldna roll o'er fer a whole horkin' tour."

Pink Floyd had nerebeen a band that indulges itself in "functionality." Turmoil, head-trips, an' mad genius be what made th' band th' distinctively dark act o' its time. But come on Roger Waters, ye gotta give us one more tour. Ye can almost pick th' setlists starboard now: "Fealess>Run Like Hell>Mother>One o' These Days>Sheep>Learnin' T' Fly>Time>Welcome t' Th' Machine>Brin' th' Boys Aft Homeport." An' ever' night ye can mix up th' songs spannin' th' deep Floyd catalog an' aye, maybe e'en a wee songs from one o' yer solo albums would be arrr t' hear too. An' then we can all go on tour wi' Pink Floyd an' thar could be a four night run in Vegas. Arrr, maybe we're gettin' a wee carried away here, but come on, $250 cargo holds o' pieces o' eight? Say that three times t' yersef without thinkin' private jet, swabbieal chef an' lifetime supply o' Titleist golf balls. One more big summer tour an' maybe another album. 'tis 2005 an' th' song "Time" couldna be more well spake.

"Ever' voyage be gettin' shorter, nereseem t' find th' time
Plans that either come t' naught or half a page o' scribbled lines

Hangin' on in a quiet desperation be th' English way
Th' time be gone, th' song be over, thought I'd somethin' more t' say"

Ahoy, if 't nerehappens ye can always count on another $250 cargo holds o' piece o' eight Eagles tour.

It be th' Wikipedia page on Moogles. Y'arr, kupo!

Moogles (モーグリ, Mōguri?, originally Romanized in Japan as "Moglie"; however, more recent materials be consistent wi' th' English spelling) be wee fictional creatures that appear throughout th' Final Fantasy, Mana (Seiken Densetsu) an' Kingdom Hearts game series. They first appeared in Final Fantasy III. Moogles serve a variety o' purposes in th' various games in which they appear. They sometimes provide opportunities t' record game progress or access shops; occasionally they assist in battle or may e'en become a playable character. Good-natured creatures, moogles be usually white or tan, an' the'r most notable feature be a white antenna protrudin' from th' head wi' a wee red or yellow ball (called a "pompom") at th' end. They be havin' wee red or purple wings, an' the'r ears be shaped like them o' a cat or rabbit. They tend t' say "kupo" (クポー, kupō?) when they talk ('tis actually a sound they make), more commonly t' finish a sentence (fer example, "What a beautiful tide, kupo!"). Moogles, along wi' chocobos, be often considered th' mascots o' th' Final Fantasy series. 't ought also be noted that a Moogle's favorite food be th' Kupo Nut, which be rumored t' be th' reason that Moogles use "Kupo" in the'r dialect. In Final Fantasy IX, Moogles be known fer runnin' an intercontinental mail delivery system known as "Mognet." This Mognet system be also used Final Fantasy III fer Nintendo DS. Many names o' Moogles be havin' th' prefix Mog- or Ku-, an example o' this would be in Final Fantasy VI an' Final Fantasy IX 'ere ever' Moogle had a name.

Moogles be frequently featured as creatures that may be summoned by th' Summoner or Caller class o' playable characters. Typically, moogles be lower-level summon spells acquired earlier in a gi'en game.

Mōguri, th' Japanese transliteration o' "moogle", be a portmanteau o' th' words mogura (土竜, mogura? mole) an' kōmori (蝙蝠, kōmori? bat). This be fittin' as moogles tend t' be havin' wee one good eye an' red/purple wings.

Some games refer t' moogles as "mogs", fer nay readily apparent reason. Mog be also often used as a stand-in word fer moogle, e'en when moogle be th' term used t' describe th' species in that particular game. Incidentally, Final Fantasy VI, Final Fantasy IX, an' Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles each had a moogle whose gi'en name be Mog.

Appearances
Some o' th' games moogles appear in:

Final Fantasy III - Th' first appearance o' moogles in an early form. They act as bodyguards fer an old wizard, Doga, an' say "nya", th' Japanese equivalent o' a cat's "meow", instead o' "kupo". In th' Nintendo DS remake, th' moogles say "kupo" an' run th' Mognet service, which be used t' complete three sidequests.

Final Fantasy Adventure - Some monsters be havin' th' ability t' turn yer character into a defenseless moogle fer a wee seconds in this game wi' a sprite based on th' Final Fantasy III version. Abroadside o' this wannion, they dasn't appear as a species.

Secret o' Mana - Th' main characters encounter a moogle village in this game. In addition, a status effect can temporarily change th' player's characters into moogles, which also can be either reversed or caused by an item called th' Moogle Belt.

Seiken Densetsu 3 - Tho nay natural-born moogles be encountered in th' game, 't can still be applied t' th' heroes as a status ailment as in Secret o' Mana, an' added or removed through a Moogle Badge (th' reward fer defeatin' th' secret Black Rabite).

Final Fantasy V - Introduces th' Moogle Forest, as well as th' Moogle theme song. A moogle be also kept as a pet an' companion by Krile.

Final Fantasy VI - Another moogle village (this time in a cave) appears. Th' first playable moogle, Mog, appears fer th' first time, an' a wee other moogles be playable. Followin' a side quest, Mog can return t' th' party later in th' game. These moogles be all competent fighters an' wield a variety o' weapons. A moogle suit, which changes th' physical appearance o' a character t' a moogle, can be worn by a wee characters. "Mog" be a common moogle name in subsequent games. In th' Americanized version, renumbered Final Fantasy III, Mog appears jus' beneath th' game title on th' box art.
Secret o' Evermore - A moogle (most likely Mog) appears, along wi' some Final Fantasy VI characters, among th' crowd o' Colosseum goers in Antiqua.

Final Fantasy VII - Th' giant moogle doll appears in this game (a mog), one o' which be ridden by th' playable character Cait Sith. In most cases when th' Choco/Mog summon materia be used, a wee moogle appears, ridin' a chocobo who attacks th' enemies. In addition, a mini-game named Mog House, presented as an arcade game, be playable in th' Dubloon Saucer; in this mini-game, ye must feed a male moogle named Mog enough Kupo Nuts t' make th' lad's fly in order t' impress a female moogle named Mag. If successful, ye get t' be seein' an endin' scene wi' Mog, Mag, an' the'r Moogle children. Interestingly, nay actual Moogles appear durin' th' course o' th' story, an' as th' Moogles which be present exist only as toys, videogames, or summons, 'tis possible that in th' FFVII world Moogles be only mythical.

Final Fantasy VIII - Th' sole moogle in th' game, MiniMog, be a summon that be accessible only from th' game's PocketStation mini-game Chocobo World, nay released abroadside o' Japan. However, in th' PC version, th' PocketStation mini-game be included. MiniMog be also a card which can be won near th' start o' th' game.

Final Fantasy IX - Moogles in this game be gi'en many different names, an' be used t' deli'er mail an' as save points. Slistzkin, a moogle wearin' camo carryin' a bunch o' scrolls in an aftpack, travels from place t' place, sellin' rare items in value-packs. A minor character also appears wearin' a moogle costume. Th' character Eiko lives alone wi' several moogles an' carries around a wee, female one named Mog. Mog later reveals herself t' be th' Eidolon Madeen (a variant o' Maduin).

Final Fantasy X - Often, th' dolls that th' character Lulu uses as weapons be moogles. They seem t' be havin' th' ability t' keel haul an' attack enemies (accordin' t' Lulu's scan information, this be probably th' lass' doin', nay innate t' th' dolls).

Final Fantasy X-2 - As a mascot, Yuna wears a moogle costume (also used t' distribute balloons in one scene). She also has a moogle design on th' lass' festive dress an' encounters one in Luca.

Final Fantasy XI - Durin' Special events, Moogles give ou' (or sell, dependin' on how poorly th' MHMU did wi' the'r last event) fireworks, prizes, an' rare equipment, an' start special "Event Quests", which typically be only available fer two or three tides. Each adventurer also gets a moogle assigned, which will watch o'er the'r mog house, an' any gardenin' they may do.

Final Fantasy XII - Moogles be havin' a superior intellect an' nimble fingers fer tinkerin'. While some be mechanics, others serve as knights or mages. Wi' the'r own capital, moogles be highly respected fer buildin' th' first airships. They also manufacture war machines.

Final Fantasy: Unlimited - A moogle be involved as Kaze's partner, th' last o' his kind from th' now-destroyed world o' Windaria. He introduced hisself as th' "charmin' harmless mascot who sea dogs an' land lubbers loves".He sacrificed hisself in th' end o' th' TV series, tho th' spirits o' his kin became new Soil bullets fer Kaze t' use in th' series aftermath.
Kingdom Hearts - Moogles be found throughout Traverse Town. They also run th' synthesis shop.

Kingdom Hearts: Chain o' Memories - Moogles be found when ye use a Moogle Shop card. Ye can buy cards or sell them fer Moogle Points.

Kingdom Hearts II - Moogles appear in certain areas in all worlds (through holograms in most worlds), primarily in Radiant Garden. They be havin' th' same role they had in Kingdom Hearts (synthesizin' items), an' most o' them also act as shopkeepers.

Sword o' Mana - A magic spell allows th' main character t' turn hisself/herself into a moogle.

Final Fantasy Tactics - Moogle be a summoner job class spell that heals all party members within a wee area. A mistranslation displays th' short spell name as "Mogri" (a transliteration o' th' Japanese word) when 'tis cast. Real moogles be extinct but once inhabited Sweegy Woods an' possibly other places, as noted in th' area's description.
"Final Fantasy Tactics Advance"-Th' main character Marche be taught th' basics o' livin' in Ivalice by Montblanc th' moogle. Moogles be playable characters, one o' th' five main types, th' others bein' crewmate, bangaa, nu mou, an' Viera.

Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles - Moogles deli'er mail t' caravans from homeport. A network o' moogles all o'er th' world give players stamps which can be used t' unlock various minigames. In single-player mode, a moogle named Mog carries th' chalice that repels th' poisonous miasma that covers th' world. Th' player can also paint th' moogle different colors in order t' produce different effects on th' Game Boy Advance screen. Moogles be immune t' miasma's noxious effects. Slistzkin also appears, but in minor scenes an' as a tutor. 't ought also be noted, that Moogles in this game be without arms, an' seem t' fly more often.

Chocobo's Mysterious Dungeon - A moogle appears in both Chocobo's Mysterious Dungeon games. In Chocobo's Mysterious Dungeon 2 th' moogle be a secondary character wi' th' default name "Mog."

Chocobo Racing - In Chocobo Racing, Mog be one o' th' game's main playable characters. In th' game's Story Mode, Mog be jealous o' Chocobo's abilities as a racer an' seeks t' become as good a racer as Chocobo.

Final Fantasy VII Advent Children - A moogle appears as a stuffed animal (which looks similar t' Lulu's moogle dolls from Final Fantasy X) held by one o' th' many Midgar orphans stricken wi' Geostigma. Nay actual moogles appear in this film.

Dirge o' Cerberus -Final Fantasy VII- - th' moogle appears as a rare an' popular doll, an item which can be sold fer a large amount o' gil

Th' most well reckoned moogle be Mog, th' moogle that appears in Final Fantasy VI, who be able t' attack usin' various dances. Th' name "Mog" fer a moogle also features in several other Final Fantasy games, such as Crystal Chronicles an' Final Fantasy IX an' VII.

Th' character Cait Sith from Final Fantasy VII, also a very well known character, rides on top o' a giant moogle doll, also named Mog. Moogles be havin' also appeared as characters in some webcomics, such as Ralph from Exploitation Now an' Ren from Mac Hall. Also in th' Flash- animated series, International Moron Patrol, a moogle named Kulock appears.

Kingdom Hearts Spoilers

Sora (ソラ, Sora?) be th' protagonist o' th' Kingdom Hearts role-playing video game series. He be an upbeat an' cheerful teenager an' tho he may seem simple-minded an' naïve at times, he possesses an unwaverin' heart an' his strong sense o' justice be extraordinary. At times, he be impulsive an' quick t' anger, but he be always sincere about what he says an' does. He comes from Destiny Isles, arrr an' be best shipmates wi' Riku an' Kairi. Sora be derived from th' Japanese word fer sky (空, sora?), in comparison wi' sea (海, kai?, when conjugated) an' land (陸, riku?).

In th' story o' Kingdom Hearts, Sora's bein' splits in two, producin' Roxas (ロクサス, Rokusasu?), a Nobody from Sora's body an' soul. This "Nobody" plays part in Kingdom Hearts II.

Sora be voiced by Haley Joel Osment in th' English versions o' th' Kingdom Hearts video games an' by Miyu Irino in th' Japanese versions. Roxas be voiced by Jesse McCartney in th' English version o' Kingdom Hearts II an' Koki Uchiyama in th' Japanese version.

Kingdom Hearts

Sora be fourteen voyages old at th' beginnin' o' Kingdom Hearts an' lives on th' Destiny Isles, arrr wi' his best shipmates Riku an' Kairi, an' others includin' Selphie, Tidus, an' Wakka. Sora an' his two close shipmates Riku an' Kairi seek t' be seein' th' world beyond th' isles, arrr an' begin t' build a raft. However, a strange dark force storms th' isles, arrr. Riku welcomes th' darkness as a pathway t' new worlds, but Sora denies 't an' be swept away from his homeport an' separated from his shipmates. He drifted through th' corridors o' darkness, an interdimensional pathway, an' ended up in a place known as Traverse Town.

Here he meets Donald Duck an' Goofy, th' respective Royal Court Magician an' Captain o' th' Royal Guard o' Disney Castle. They be under direct orders found in a letter port behind by the'r kin', Mickey, t' find Leon an' a mysterious "key". Kin' Mickey has mysteriously disappeared an' be on his own voyage conductin' an investigation into th' darkness that be slowly swallowin' world after world. Th' three o' them decide t' look fer the'r shipmates together, especially since Donald an' Goofy believe Sora be th' one t' defeat th' dark force on accoun' o' he bears a weapon known as th' Keyblade, perhaps this mysterious "key" Mickey be talkin' about.

In Traverse Town, Sora finds Riku an' discovers that neither o' them can find Kairi. After findin' Riku cast into darkness, Maleficent started poisonin' his mind against Sora, makin' th' lad's think that by befriendin' Donald an' Goofy, Sora has forgotten about th' lad's an' Kairi. He then decides t' find Kairi on his own. Sora ends up traversin' multiple worlds t' avast th' Heartless, th' creatures that embody th' darkness, an' also rescue th' Se'en Princesses o' Heart, who be th' key t' openin' th' final Keyhole that will show th' path t' Kingdom Hearts, th' objective o' th' villains controllin' th' Heartless.

After reachin' Hollow Bastion, Sora loses th' Keyblade t' Riku after he be revealed t' be th' starboardful keyblade master. Th' reason th' keyblade chose Sora be on accoun' o' he chose th' light o'er Riku's darkness, Riku, however, had a stronger heart. This in turn causes Donald an' Goofy t' abandon th' lad's fer Riku as per the'r orders but loyalty soon brings them aft t' Sora. Riku loses th' Keyblade t' Soran after he chooses darkness o'er light o' his own free will. Enraged he fights Sora but be defeated.

After this, th' party encounters Maleficent. She be defeated by Sora an' retreats towards th' inner chamber. Riku, who be now possessed by Xehanort's Heartless, offers th' lass' help t' defeat Sora. Sora an' gang arrive an' Riku unlocks Maleficent's "true darkness" by impalin' th' lass' wi' his dark Keyblade, turnin' th' lass' into a black dragon. She be defeated once more by Sora.

Soon after, Sora meets up wi' Riku again, 'ere Sora learns that Kairi's heart be within th' lad's since th' destruction o' Destiny Isles, arrr. Sora engages in yet another battle wi' Riku an' wins once more. In order t' return Kairi's heart an' make th' lass' conscious again, Sora impales hisself wi' th' dark Keyblade that Riku wielded t' remove his an' th' lass' hearts, becomin' a Heartless hisself fer a short period before bein' saved on accoun' o' o' Kairi's voice leadin' th' lad's towards th' light. His tenure as a Heartless brings Roxas into existence at Twilight Town, 'ere he be found by Xemnas an' inducted into Organization XIII. Naminé, Kairi's Nobody, be also born ou' o' Kairi's heart an' Sora's body an' soul.

After resquadronin' in Traverse Town, Kairi gives Sora th' lass' lucky charm, since he insists that she ought stay behind while he tries t' get Riku aft.

Sora returns t' Hollow Bastion afterwards t' seal its Keyhole. Before sealin' 't, however, Cid warns Sora that once Xehanort's Heartless be defeated, they may nay longer be able t' be seein' each other. This worries Sora, but he closes th' Keyhole regardless.

Sora an' his shipmates manage t' defeat Xehanort's Heartless at End o' th' World, a place 'ere all th' lost worlds that fell into darkness converge. As Sora investigates th' door t' darkness, Riku an' Kin' Mickey appear on th' other side o' th' door an' together they seal 't from both sides; wi' Sora's Keyblade from th' realm o' light an' Mickey's Keyblade from th' realm o' darkness.

As th' worlds begin t' restore they's self, Kairi an' Sora be separated. Sora promises t' return t' th' lass' as soon as he finds Riku an' th' doorway t' light.

[edit] Kingdom Hearts: Chain o' Memories

Kingdom Hearts: Chain o' Memories beings wi' Sora encounterin' a mysterious man in a long black hooded cloak who informs Sora that "ahead lies somethin' ye need, but t' claim 't, ye must lose somethin' dear." Th' man disappears an' only one path remains. Th' trio follow th' path which lead them t' a mysterious castle known as Castle Oblivion. They enter th' castle hopin' t' find some clues as t' th' whereabouts o' the'r shipmates only t' disco'er as they ascend th' floors o' th' fortress, th' more memories they lose an' th' more uncertain they become.

Wee do they know, the'r memories be bein' manipulated by a mysterious organization that seek t' capture an' manipulate Sora. T' do this, they use Naminé, Kairi's Nobody who can rearrange th' "chains" o' memories an' create new links. In order t' make Sora forget Kairi, Naminé begins t' replace his memories o' th' lass' wi' herself. Meanwhile, a conflict between th' Organization's members leads t' several encounters between Sora an' Riku, whose memories o' Kairi also ben replaced wi' ones containin' Naminé.

The'r uncertainty builds t' a point 'ere they end up in Twilight Town, a place that Sora be fairly certain that he has nerebeen in, thus shouldna exist in his memory. Organization member IV Vexen reveals that 'tis a place that exists on th' other side o' Sora's heart, referrin' t' Roxas, but be eliminated by Axel, another member o' th' Organization, before he can explain anythin'.

Axel ends up betrayin' Marluxia, th' lord o' Castle Oblivion, revealin' that Marluxia an' Larxene, new members o' the'r squadron, intended t' use Sora t' overthrow th' Organization. Axel manipulates Naminé into doin' what she believes be starboard, wi' th' lass' revealin' t' Sora that she nereexisted in his memory an' that she had been replacin' th' swabbie most important t' th' lad's. Riku appears t' them again an' be defeated by Sora. When Sora tries t' help th' injured Riku, he attacks Sora. Naminé uses th' lass' power t' break Riku's memory, an' 't causes th' lad's t' collapse. Larxene comes fore t' eliminate Sora an' Riku, who be revealed t' actually be "Riku Replica", created by Vexen.

Sora defeats Larxene an' forgives a regretful Naminé fer th' lass' actions. She promises t' restore th' memories o' th' trio once they reach th' 13th Deck o' Castle Oblivion, 'ere Marluxia be waitin' fer them. Axel attempts t' destroy Marluxia hisself but when Marluxia uses Naminé as a crewmate shield Sora steps in an' defeats Axel. Once Marluxia be defeated, Naminé asks that they step into machines that will rearrange the'r memories aft t' th' way they be at th' cost o' breakin' th' links she created. She also informs th' lad's that th' process will take some time, durin' which Sora, Donald, an' Goofy will sleep as the'r memories be slowly restored. While they know that they will forget Naminé, Sora promises th' lass' that while she be forgotten, she will remain in his heart, nerelost.

Kingdom Hearts II

Durin' th' voyage after Chain o' Memories, Roxas, seekin' t' find why he be able t' use Keyblades, leaves Organization XIII t' Axel's disappointment. While in th' World That NereWas, Roxas encounters Heartless an' Riku. Th' two assist each other in defeatin' th' Heartless, but battle each other afterwards, wi' Riku eventually provin' t' be th' victor. Roxas be then sent into a virtual version o' Twilight Town, wi' his memories erased by Naminé t' throw off any Organization pursuers. This be all part o' DiZ's plan t' create a "complete" Sora strong enough t' destroy th' Organization.

Kingdom Hearts II begins in th' Twilight Town simulation, 'ere Roxas believes that he be a matey o' three other teenagers. As events in th' virtual town progress, Roxas be conforeed wi' confusin' sights, such as Axel's appearance, an' bizarre dreams filled wi' Sora's memories an' hearkenin' aft t' his time wi' th' Organization. Roxas eventually regains his memories, an' be forced t' merge wi' Sora.

Sora, Donald an' Goofy awake in Twilight Town wi' the'r memories restored, although they cannot reckon what happened in Castle Oblivion. Continuin' the'r journey t' find Riku an' Kin' Mickey, they set ou' set sail across new worlds, meetin' old shipmates an' enemies from th' original Kingdom Hearts game, battlin' th' Heartless an' a new threat, th' remainin' members o' th' Organization they encountered in Chain o' Memories.

Soon after explorin' Twilight Town, Sora an' company head off t' th' Tower an' Sora obtains new attire—on th' advice o' master sorcerer Yen Sid—from Flora, Fauna, an' Merryweather, th' fairies from Bunkin' Beauty. In a nod t' th' film, th' three fairies at first all want Sora's new outfit t' be the'r respective color, until finally Sora convinces them t' avast foolin' around. Th' new outfit enables Sora t' transform into new forms an' attain special powers fer each o' them. Th' source o' th' clothing's magic be linked t' Sora's heart connected t' sea dogs an' land lubbers he had befriended as well as Donald an' Goofy, bein' referred t' as a "key that connects everything" by Yen Sid; this be how Naminé's memory manipulation also works.

Throughout th' game, Sora expresses his determination t' brin' Riku aft homeport wi' th' lad's t' Destiny Isles, arrr, 'ere Kairi be patiently waitin' fer them. Th' quest gets more complicated when Kairi herself be kidnapped by Axel. Pete (who works fer th' resurrected Maleficent) an' Organization XIII be causin' trouble in th' other worlds, an' Kin' Mickey refuses t' give information regardin' Riku. Sora must also disco'er why some o' th' members o' Organization XIII address th' lad's as Roxas e'en after he clearly states his name be Sora. Also throughout th' game Sora becomes rather intrigued an' interested in th' romances between some o' his shipmates, such as Elizabeth Swann an' Will Turner; hintin' romantic feelings fer Kairi, which Donald an' Goofy smugly joke about (especially Donald, who says "I know who ye're thinkin' about!"). Kairi be also hinted t' be havin' similar feelings fer Sora.

Eventually, Sora, wi' th' help o' th' Twilight Town kids (th' templates o' th' three shipmates o' Roxas in DiZ's simulated Twilight Town) an' Axel, manages t' find th' route t' "th' World That NereWas": th' stronghold o' th' Organization, 'ere Kingdom Hearts itself resides. Enterin' a bizzare world filled wi' chestfulls o' Nobodies, both Sora an' Axel swashbuckle together, an' Axel sacrifices hisself t' destroy th' maraudin' horde o' Nobodies an' wi' th' last o' his strength, opens th' door t' th' World That NereWas an' revealin' his affection fer Roxas. Soon after enterin' th' world, Sora's squadron be ambushed by Nobodies an' Sora be forced into a showdown wi' an Organization member, who turns ou' t' be Roxas (disguised in his former Organization XIII cloak). Afterwards, Sora, Donald, Goofy an' Kin' Mickey storm th' castle in search o' the'r shipmates. Thar, Sora finds Kairi an' Riku an' th' mysteries o' Roxas' identity an' Kin' Mickey's secrets be finally solved. Th' squadron attempts t' avast Xemnas, th' leader o' th' Organization. After they seemingly defeat Xemnas, Naminé an' Roxas emerge t' speak wi' each other before fusin' wi' Kairi an' Sora t' complete they's self.

Sora an' Riku be separated from Kin' Mickey, Goofy, Kairi an' Donald. They swashbuckle Xemnas again on the'r own an' defeat th' lad's, tho they remain stranded on a beach wi' Riku slightly injured. As Sora an' Riku share the'r thoughts about the'r adventure an' friendship, they come t' th' conclusion that "if worlds be made o' light an' darkness, they'll be th' darkness since th' light realm be safe". As they listen t' th' waves, a keg containin' Kairi’s letter washes onto th' shore. Th' door t' light appears, an' both Sora an' Riku use 't t' return t' the'r homeworld: Destiny Isles, arrr.

Havin' brought Riku aft homeport, fused wi' Roxas an' reunited at last wi' all his shipmates, Sora returns Kairi's lucky charm wi' Kairi sayin' "Ye're homeport." Durin' th' credits, Sora be walkin' around in th' Secret Place. He smiles while lookin' at all th' pictures he an' Kairi had drawn o'er th' voyages. He glances down at th' picture o' Kairi an' hisself. He sees that Kairi drew th' other half o' a paopu fruit, an' smiles t' hisself.

At th' end o' th' credits, another FMV shows Sora askin' Riku what he thinks th' door t' light be. Riku replies that 't be Sora's heart, "'tis always closer than ye think". Kairi runs up t' them an' give them a keg she found, containin' a letter from Kin' Mickey. Th' trio reads th' letter, its contents a mystery t' th' player.

World transformations

When Sora enters certain worlds in Kingdom Hearts an' Kingdom Hearts II, his appearance changes t' make th' lad's able t' set sail in that particular land.

* In Hollow Bastion durin' th' first game, Sora be turned into a Shadow Heartless after givin' up his heart t' free Kairi from th' lass' comatose state. While in this form, Sora be unable t' do anythin' 'ceptin' jump an' move around. Luckily, thar be nay enemy encounters while he be in this state. Sora be returned t' normal upon arrivin' in th' Gangplank Hall.
* In Atlantica from Th' Wee Mermaid, Sora becomes a dolphin-like merman. He has nay shirt, an' his body from th' waist down transforms into a dolphin tail. This version o' Sora has unique swimmin' abilities, an' be able t' breathe underwater. Sora cannot use Drive in this form. Dialogue prior t' enterin' Atlantica in th' first game reveals that Donald be th' one who transforms Sora into that form. Also, some abilities in th' first game be unable t' be used while in Atlantica, such as th' Sonic Blade an' Strike Raid.

* In Halloween Town from Th' Nightmare Before Christmas, Sora dons a Halloween costume, makin' th' lad's appear t' be a vampire-like creature. If nay fer his fearsome appearance, th' macabre inhabitants o' th' town wouldna receive th' lad's. Sora has nay special abilities in this form, an' when Drivin', his mask changes rather than his clothes. In this form, th' appearance o' Sora's Keyblade also changes t' grey-ish tones t' match th' surroundings o' Halloween Town. In th' alternate Christmas Town o' th' same world in Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix+, Sora will don a black Santa suit that seems t' be a mixture o' both th' Christmas an' Halloween themes. He keeps his dark makeup an' overall appearance, tho. 'tis unknown how his new outfit be affected by Drive, since he dasn't wear a mask in this form.

* In Space Paranoids, inspired by Tron, Sora appears in robot-like armor, gray in color wi' glowin' cyan circuit lines; essentially th' appearance o' nearly all non-evil crewmate bein' or program in th' computer world o' th' Tron universe. Sora has nay special abilities in this form, an' when Drivin', Sora's circuit lines change color t' reflect th' Form transformed into (i.e. red fer Valor Form, blue fer Wisdom Form, etc.). In this form, th' appearance o' Sora's Keyblade also be changed t' be havin' glowin' blue circuit lines as well.

* In Timeless River, inspired by Steamboat Willie, Sora's costume an' his appearance turn black an' white, an' his face, arms, an' figure take on characteristics o' 1920's cartoon characters. Also, like sea dogs an' land lubbers else inside o' Timeless River, he be in his first appearance design (from th' first Kingdom Hearts game). He has nay special abilities in this form, an' when Drivin', th' icon o' Sora by th' HP Bar tints color slightly on th' outline t' reflect th' Form transformed into.
* In th' Pride Lands from Th' Lion King, Sora undergoes th' most drastic o' th' World Transformations. He becomes a brown lion cub, an' his hairdo be replaced by a mane; th' crown-shaped pendant around his neck be still present, an' he runs around wi' th' Keyblade in his bung hole. Sora cannot use Drive in this form or perform Summons, although he be able t' move wi' increased agility. Donald says that this transformation be due t' Sora's new clothes, instead o' Donald's magic, like in Atlantica.

Drive

In Kingdom Hearts II, Sora has a new ability; he can transform t' take on more powerful forms. Similar t' Summonin', a certain party member linked t' th' Drive be removed until Sora reverts.

Most Forms also grant Sora a special ability he can equip t' hisself fer use in his normal form only, which be received when he upgrades th' Form level fer that Form t' Level 3 (which can be further enhanced at Level 5 an' 7). Although these special abilities that Sora can use be nay as powerful in his normal form, 't enables th' lad's t' be able t' use any o' these abilities at any time.

* Valor Form (Brave Form in th' Japanese version o' Kingdom Hearts II) be accomplished by Sora's bond wi' Goofy; Sora dons a red an' black outfit an' gains th' ability t' wield two Keyblades. This form o' Sora has impressive offense attacks, an' his speed be increased greatly, but be unable t' use magic. Th' three fairies give Sora th' drive ability fer Valor Form.

* Wisdom Form be brought about by Sora's bond wi' Donald; Sora's outfit turns blue an' black an' his physical attack be replaced wi' a magic blast, called Shoot; Sora's other magical skills be doubled. In Wisdom Form, Sora hovers an' glides along th' deck instead o' standin' an' walkin', lettin' th' lad's attack or use magic while movin'. This form be obtained when Sora completes th' Timeless River.

* Master Form be a combination o' Valor an' Wisdom Forms, achieved by th' bonds wi' both current party members. Sora's clothes be colored yellow an' black. In this form, Sora wields two Keyblades. However, unlike th' previous Valor Form, Sora's port handed Keyblade floats instead o' bein' held, this allows a longer swingin' range an' more power. Although both strength an' magic be increased in this Form, th' boosts be nay as high as Valor an' Wisdom. Master Form specializes in aerial attacks, although magic attacks used in Master Form be more powerful an' somewhat different. This form be obtained after Sora talks t' Mickey in Ansem's Study.

* Final Form be th' most powerful o' all o' Sora's Drive Forms. As wi' th' other Drives, Sora's clothes go through a drastic change, switchin' from th' standard black t' a lustrous silver. As wi' Valor an' Master Forms, Sora wields two Keyblades; they float behind th' lad's an' be able t' attack on the'r own. Sora be also able t' hover, as wi' Wisdom Form. This form can be obtained after Sora fights Roxas at Th' World That NereWas, but th' first transformation occurs randomly.

* AntiForm be triggered by an unseen counter an' chance that increases as th' player uses drives more often. Th' chances increase or decrease in certain situations. AntiForm renders Sora completely black wi' glowin' yellow one good eye, similar t' them o' a Heartless. He be seemingly feral; he runs on all fours an' attacks wi' his claws. While in AntiForm, Sora be unable t' use many options usually available an' he takes more damage than normal. However, Sora's combo potential an' speed be drastically increased. Unlike th' other forms, AntiForm cannot be leveled an' 't dasn't give normal Sora any new abilities. Sora can voluntarily change aft from this form, but he can only do so once th' battle has ended.

[edit] Other Forms

* "Card Form" occurs when Sora encounters Gambler Nobodies controlled by Organization XIII's tenth member, Luxord, or Luxord hisself. When Sora loses against them in a draw o' cards, he be transformed into a playing-card version o' hisself. He cannot use th' Keyblade, Magic, Items, Drives, Summons or Limits while in this form, an' can only attack by throwin' hisself at enemies.
* "Sink t'Davy Jones' locker Form" occurs similarly t' Card Form; Sora transforms into a sink t'Davy Jones' locker wi' his face on 't by losin' a game t' a Gambler Nobody or battlin' Luxord. He has th' same limitations as a card, an' his only attack be rollin' into enemies.

Sora cannot revert from these forms at will; in both cases, he must wait fer th' onscreen "Form" bar t' drop t' zero in order t' return t' his regular form. Howereupon leavin' a room Sora reverts aft t' his normal state.
