Imagine for a moment that you own a race horse. Rockin', a race horse!

Of course, now that you have a race horse, you'll have to give it a random name. What would you name it? I'm thinkin' that if I had a horse, I'd name it Horsimus Prime or something.

Bill Murray. Then I can say I ride Bill Murray and everybody at parties will laugh and think I'm a comedic genius.

To make the thread even more fun, keep in mind that a thoroughbred racehorse's name must be no longer than eighteen letters, including spaces and punctuation marks.

Do not ask how I know this. Also do not ask why I have about a billion ideas for racehorse names and thus cannot list them all here. :shifty:

Winius Minimus. Even with GRR!'s rules it works.

Hmmm, I love horse racing.

Often horses are named with some combination of their parents' names, or a pun on them. Funny Cide's parents were Distorted Humor and Belle's Good Cide, for example.

Anyway, good race horses whose name is a single word come off as more bold, regal, even "classic" IMO: Secretariat, Affirmed, Ruffian, Unbridled, Eclipse, etc.

I suppose I'd go with Tornado, which I believe is the name of Zorro's horse.

I would name my horse My Great-Aunt. Or perhaps That One Horse.

"___ is in the lead!" "I'll place 300$ on ____."

I'm so clever.

If I were to name a race horse it would probably be nothing but a bunch of explicit words that are inaproppriate for the ears of children and everything else, because with my luck it'd be a REALLY slow horse.
