WHERE IS TRICKSTER!!!!!

I cant find trickster. Monid joined me and we all looked all over for him, but he wasnt there. I went exactly where the strategy guide told me and I still can't find him. I lloked through the entire area, killed all enemies, and left and came back. He is still not there!

HELP!!!!!!!!!

Go back again. He is hard to find sometimes but if Monid is there he will show up eventually

Yeah, like Renmiri said. Keep going in and out, eventually Mondid (sp) will tell you that the Trickster appeared. After that, just look around and you'll see the Tricker running everywhere. He kind of disappears sometimes, but you should still be able to see him pretty easily.

Clear the area before if possible(he may spawn on your first entry?)
That will help with other enemies interfering. Then once its cleared, pick a zoneline and keep going in/out til monid says he's here....
Then depending on your level weapons, kill it or be prepared to be HURT :) as this guy hits hard.

Uh just keep exiting and entering until it shows up...and if that doesn't work then reset and try again from Mt. Bur Omisace.

but be careful, it may onlt be a chocobo buts its incredibly hard, and to top it off it casts a paling when its almost dead

Yeah, I didn't have any trouble with Trickster, either, and I was prepared for a long, tough battle, based on things I've read here. Same with Marilith; I was figuring on waiting around forever and then struggling with the fight, but Marilith popped up as soon as I got to the proper area, and the fight was easy peasy.

The Hunt that's given me the most trouble so far has been Fafnir. Thought I'd NEVER kill that SOB!

hated fafnir also, i couldnt make him appear forever, then later i found out you have to do certain things im like why the f*** didnt it tell me in the guide lol
Behemoth king is bad, making him appear is almost as hard fighting the boss

What level were you guys when you defeat the Trickster? and when trickster cast Paling, is there anything I can do to kill it?? Its immune to everything!! Trickster cast Paling when it almost die.

A lot of optional bosses and marks use Palings and Magic Barriers when low on life. The former causes immunity to physical damage, whilst the other stops magic damage. The only thing you can do when these pop up to switch your method of dealing damage or wait it out.

Not to mention their attacks double or triple the damage when their HP is critical and your team is hanging by a thread. FFXII designers were mean evil men!!! :mad:

Use Bio. It worked for me.

Bio is pretty much the defacto spell to cast in those situations since it's not elemental and sometimes Sap will even catch, and be a pleasant surprise (such as with bomb king xD)

Behemoth King is really easy but really long.

Oh but the reward for Behemoth King nearly made me faint because it was so freakin good.

I hated the Trickster. It made me waste my only 2 X-Potions at the time.

i thought it was really annoying when the Behemoth king switched from a paling to a magick shield, and you had to switch gambits everytime, which was annoying
