So let's say you order a pizza. Mmm pizza, damn that's good. But oh no, I can't possibly eat anymore! Oh well, I'll just have the leftovers tomorrow. Now the question here is:

Do you eat your leftover pizza cold, or do you attempt to re-microwave it knowing it's going to be mediocre and not as good as it was when it was freshly delivered?

I think it tastes better cold.

Microwaved. Whilst not, of course, as good as the first time it's made, it is still notably superior to cold pizza.

While I've only ever been in this situation once, I feel I would do that should I find myself in such a situation again. I also added fresh cheese on top to add extra melted cheese to it which is yet another improvement, and would do so again.

If you reheat your pizza correctly, it can taste perfectly good. Microwaving is only bad if you let it get all rubbery. I like it cold, too. I'll usually go for a bit of both.

You didn't specify if it was refrigerator cold or sitting-on-the-counter-in-the-box cold.

I prefer it lukewarm from sitting on a counter to microwaved. If I don't finish it, I'll usually leave it on the counter. I will definitely eat it before it spoils or anything (usually within a few hours), but even if it's out until the next morning it's usually pretty good.

I'd much rather eat semi-reheated leftover pizza than fresh, actually. Not reheated for too long, just enough to get it sufficiently warm. Cold is good, too.

Leftover pizza, all around, tastes better than freshly made.

I nearly always finish my pizza when it's fresh and still hot. If I don't, I prefer to throw it out than to reheat it, and I don''t ever think I've tried it cold.

I regularly cook a pizza so I can put it in the fridge and eat it cold later.

Okay, not really, but I do like cold pizza a lot. Reheated seems like a crap shoot, as it's either great or gross.

Cold: Peperoni, Anchovy, Sausage, cheese

Microwaved: Garden pizza, any deep dish (Chicago style)

My sentiments exactly. I had a pizza for dinner today and as I was eating it I was thinking that it would be better to just take it home and eat it later so that it would taste better, but I was hungry so I ate it all. It was an Individual sized pizza so I couldn't even take any home because those are just big enough to eat all in one sitting.

In other words, that's what I'd do if it wasn't eaten before I could pay the delivery boy.

Some pizzas are much better cold, whilst some you just have to heat up. It depends on the people you are getting your pizza from. The more oil means the more likely it is going to be thrown into the microwave or oven.

Yeppa. Everyone keeps saying cold or hot. I prefer to heat it maybe 15-30 seconds so it's soft but not too warm.

I am not saying it tastes bad the first day, but the next day as you let the spaghetti sauce and noodles mingle overnight, it becomes so much better.
