I can't remember the exact time but I remember a while ago when I broke my memory card, I would play for about 6 hours everyday trying to get as far as I could.

Me, about 60 hours i think, the save is deleted now :(. This is one of the few FF games that i didnt run around doing any of the end-game optional stuff which is a shame, but theres no time to cry bout it now.

Edit: coulda been shorter, im just taking a guess at the average time it woulda taken- i didnt put anything extra into the game.

penance is an insane boss with 12,000,000 hp which is unlocked by defeating all the dark aeons. the aeons and penance can only be found on the international version

Well, my reasons are obvious. Plus, I technically watched movies for half of that time or left the PS2 to idle whilst doing something more important, and then saving. Is it necessary for me to play Kingdom Hearts II and max out the clock, doing nothing, and then writing about it? Is it necessary for me to usurp the Diablo 2 thread for my own personal LiveJournal? Have you ever considered that we have nothing better to do? C'mon roto, I expected better! Better, damnit! Lunar's poisonous influence has clearly gotten to you!

Otherwise, it actually takes that long to completely master/get all of the options for the game. In some cases, it's all about making your money back.
