Hey folks. Here's the deal. I'm putting together a video for a competition my school is doing, and right now I'm leaning towards an old school PSA on how to be a college student. You know, the whole black and white with the creepy/cheery narrator and lots of *sparkle* sound effects when things appear. Anyway, how to be a college student. Let's hear?

To start things off:
"First you'll need these ridiculously heavy books, Billy."
"Let's see you wallet, Billy. Oh, look at all that money. Well, in order for you to be a college student. *sparkle* (money disappears) Ah, that's much better."

Alcohol
Ridiculously Messy Room
The same rocking chairs in every dorm
Last minute cramming for every test
Oversleeping alarm
Loud music at 3 am

I could probably think of more if I devoted more time to it. :p

Missing first class in the morning.
Rather clean your room than study.

^ some corrections

*missing all your classes for two weeks before realizing there's an exam in two days
*rather play wow instead of study or clean your room

+ Rather choose to write a 1,200 to 1,300 word essay instead of attending 5 research colloquia because you were "too lazy to go there"
and then panic near the end of the semester because YOU HAVE TO WRITE A 1,200 TO 1,300 WORD ESSAY BY TOMORROW!!

+ Take naps while lecturer is teaching you how to "Change your desktop wallpaper"!

Master the art of BS-ing.*

*Note: This skill comes in handy for essays as well as quizzes, tests and exams.

- Study as hard as u can to get a C (unless u're a genious and no one knows)
- Don't skip a single class (well u can skip but then u won't finish it)
- Get notes from ur friends and see if there are exams that older students can borrow you!

With this you'll be able to do good here in Portugal! :eep:

Hey thanks guys. I think I may try to incorporate some of these.

Provided I get around to making this. A two week deadline for something like this is nuts. Well, not really, but for procrastinators, I don't even get much time to slack.

I agree with BSing essays. They come in handy.

Know a BS course from a non-BS course as well. :P You can BS an entire HR final exam, I've learned. It doesn't work for accounting.
