View Full Version : FF IV advance: multilanguage?

I just bought a copy of Final Fantasy IV Advance. Writings on the box explicitly say that on-screen text should be multi-language, but when I have the game start (on my DS), it only shows text in German. I don't mind playing the game in German, I know FF IV well enough and perhaps I would pick up some useful words, but I'm really annoyed by the contradiction between the box and the actual cartridge. So to those who have an european version of the game: is your cartridge multi-language? How to change the language, if it is possible to do so at all?

Second questions: all the savefile slots are occupied, and I can't think of a way to delete the files. Is there a way to do so? Or is my only option that of starting a new game and re-writing over old saves?

I own the US version, but if DoS is anything to go by the language settings will be found in the menu's "config" settings. Regarding saves you don't need to worry, just save over them as you play. That's a kind of deletion.

Here's how to change the language.

Go to the third to last option in the menu.
Next choose the last option.
From here you should see a screen telling you to choose a language.
