How do i defeat seppheroth

Inflict damage until his hitpoints are reduced to zero. That's what I did.

Technically, you only have to reduce it down to 1 HP, and then deal a finishing blow.

Unfortunately, Sephiroth is one of the fights where you can't button mash X to win. (Unless you're Tavrobel)

Are you talking about Sephy in KH1 or KH2?

Have you actually beaten him by using X and only X?

Of course you can X mash in the fight, but I highly doubt you can use it and it alone (excluding the Analog Stick which is needed to move) since I know that in KH1, he'll hit you and teleport away, or surround himself in pillars of flames after attacking you, making it impossible to hit him; in KH2, he'll just whack you down to 1HP easily with his sword combo as you run up to him, and then he'll just easily kill you after that.

Unless somebody (most likely Tavrobel) found out some super secret method to X-mash and kill Sephiroth, it's basically impossible to just X-mash to win.

I used Magic... but I don't reccomend it unless you have gained alot of MP through stats.

Unless you mean you scrolled through the menu with the D-Pad and pressing X when you got the command you wanted.

You must feel really accomplished. :rolleyes2 I beat him at lvl 39 Proud Mode. And you?

By the way, I did not use Trinity Limit-Berserk Charge.

You need to finish him off with a combo...duh! I read the stratagy guide.

Maybe...but the way I did it was I was 1 HP and so was he. I was attacking Sephiroth had to wait for MP to restor from Heartless Angel then once it was done, I used Trinity. Thus ending the battle. I was relieved once it was over then I went back to Cloud and then back to Sephiroth to see the Movie/Scene then got Fenrir.

Get to level 98, when you beat him, you'll be 99. :)
