Leveling Up

where was your most effective place to level up/ gain LP? I am going into Dr. Cid's lab right now and i am seriously underleveled and i am afraid that if i enter i will be crushed into oblivion...please help

What level are you?

Go someplace that was hard 5 levels ago. The Hunts are good for leveling because they give you a goal, which can mitigate the boredom of just hitting wolves for 2 hours.

I used the Sandsea, and then the Henne mines until I could one shot most of the monsters because the drops were decent.

I don't recomend the the Zertinan Caverns (in Ozmone Plain) unless you want some stories for the funny death thread.

At the level you are, try Mosphorian Highwaste: Humbabas drop $$$ loot and so do those red throated wolves. Use the gil to equip yourself good.

Feywood and Giruvegan are great but just after you get to a high enough level that Draklor Labs feels like child's play

There's save points in the laboratory and as long as you run away from hecteyes, you should be able just to run around in there and level up.

As to what level i am,
Ashe-39
Everyone else- 33/34 ( i just stopped taking Ashe out of the party, dont know why)

Last night i completed the Drakelore (sp?) Labs, but it hurt. I was thinking about the Hightwaste before though because those wolves drop blood that sells for 1000+. Any other suggestions....

Depends where I was in the game. I only started gaining serious levels in the Henne Mines near the end of the game.

Highwaste is the best IMHO before you get strong enough for the Feywood and Giruvegan. Then it is Giruvegan ftw!!!

Get embroidered tippets from Old Archades if they're available, doubles exp.

Henne Mines are the best. Those damn bats give so much plus x2 with the tippets.

I hate fighting undead, particularly when there's little loot to be had so Henne and Nabudis are off my list.

That's where I levelled up when I needed to catch up. It isn't a very difficult place if you have the correct tactics.

well, i just beat the game and the place that helped me the most was Mesophoran Highwaste and the Feywood.

Those two are my favorite levelling up places besides Giruvegan. Tons of EXP, LP and gil to be had :love:
