I have a 4xsomething wacom graphire 3 and it's pretty decent, so anything bigger from them should awesomely decent.

I have a Wacom 4x5, I paid less than $100 for it. I used it to draw <a href="http://www.briancarper.net/gallery2/1734-1/cat5.png">a picture of my cat</a>. It's more than adequate.

Just as matter of question, what would one need a tablet for? The only place I've ever seen those used was in the 24 series, where they were obviously included for the sake of looking cool.
