MGS probly is the easiest game to turn into a movie.
Heck Snake eater, plays like a bond film. (with short mission then tittles, then the main mission) So if Hideo is the director it'll be amazing

This has potential. MGS has a cinematic feel to it already, so it's more suited to the big screen than most franchises. I know we've seen some awful movie versions of games over the years, but I'm cautiously optimistic about this.

There has only been 2 Metal Gear Solid movies. The first one was a puppet show. I don't recall moving mouths and things like that :D

If they can get a good director, I'd say MGS has the potential to be the best videogame-movie adaptation. Regardless of whether it's good or bad, though, it probably won't make any sense at all. :p

Oh Snake have you ever seen Godzilla? ZOMG Go buy 20 dvds then eat some ramen and watch 7 Samurai come to Japan spend all your money!

Really? Hmm, that sounds kinda neat - It could potentially be really great.

... Actually, I remember hearing some rumours some years ago about Kojima wanting Russell Crowe to play Snake if a movie would ever be made. Personally , Crowe doesn't seem quite right for the role, although he's a very talented actor. Anyway, I'll be looking forward to hearing some more news about this supposedly upcoming movie.

They should just make it a CGI movie and be done with it. Then we could have snakes voice (and eat it too?).

I have a perfect Penny Arcade strip for this... It also shows my feeling about the idea of Metal Gear Becoming a movie... Just replace Jim Lee with Hideo Kojima and SOE with Hollywood;)
