Have you ever wanted to close your own threads?

Once in awhile.

I don't really make very many threads. So not really.

Closing your own thread is kind of stylish. It's tantamount to someone doing this amazing musical performance then dropping their mic and walking away silently. So yes, I secretely fantasize about it.

Not for a moment, chap; although, what Rye said sounds terribly intriguing.

Never really thought about it, but come to think about it i wouldn't have minded doing so on a couple of my thread's.

My threads are too good to close. Closing one of my threads would be like shooting a unicorn in the face. A solid gold unicorn with diamond eyeballs.

Sometimes I want to mass delete threads. So much garbage out there.

Yep!

I rarely have questions I can't answer, so when I make a thread that has an honest question, well, it isn't like I need anybody else's advice or opinion or whatever. Usually I just end up with a ton of BS that I'd rather not root through, and then i wish I never posted it.

I've never wanted anything I posted in General Chat to be closed, though. ANything that has no bearing on reality can last forever as far as I'm concerned.

I am laughing so hard right now.

And no.

I have started a good 3 or so, and I think they died in the most dignified manner, by being ignored by people. I don't want to euthanize my own threads, as horrid a condition they may be in.

Agreed. Afterall killing off your thread leaves it no room for revival (eventhough against the rules it is, it still somehow happens) plus its tantamount to just giving up on the poor thing...which is well against the point of creating a thread in the first place if your just gonna give up on it!

Sometimes I want to close my own threads since I phrased out the subject in a confusing way. That way I can make a new thread which has a more clearer subject.

I do not make very many threads, so I never feel like closing them! If I did, though, I'd just ask one of the staff members to do it for me. It's all about having the right connections.

I'm pretty sure I've never wanted to do it. Like a lot of other people who have posted, I rarely make them--so when I DO post a thread, I am confident.
