Quick Naudibis question

Is there a save crystal and/or place to buy items in the necrohol of naudibis, and is there any way to avoid the horse monster with like 999999 HP(the purple glowing one?)

As for the horse, I thibnk you're talking about the Helvinek, which "Appear everywhere after you have killed six Oversouls. If you can't find the Oversouls, just defeat the other enemies as many as you can, you will eventually get to find six Oversouls."

helvinek isn't too hard, make someone berserked+hasted+bravery'd to whittle down his HP and keep the others healin' real good.

Healer to heal the tank, tank to do the main damage, and a buffer to hit at a distance, stopping when necessary to recast any buffs (Bravery, Haste, Bubble, etc.)

Shouldn't take too long.

you can buy them from the clan provisioner in Rabanastre, I think. they're definitely worth looking into.

In one of the room there is a secret merchant. The longest hall in the area from the Salikawood there is a little round room connected to it. Go in there then south. Its in the top left corner. ;)

there's no Save crystal no. :(
The horse, Helvinek, is a rare monster... The hp/level isn't supposed to show. I faced it too.
You can avoid it by not killing 6 Oversouls, if you kill 6 of them the horse will spawn.

Helvinek doesn't show up around the merchant if you get into the Necrohol via Salikawoods.

He only sells Ethers until you get to Ridorana

Thats the problem, I entered through the deadlands. Does the merchant sell any good equipent too?

He does sell Maximilians and other great stuff but only AFTER you start the Ridorana mission

Well, I can board the Bahamut now, but I'm afraid I can't beat Vayne and his 3 forms

Vayne first 2 forms suck like a Wild Saurian. His last form can give ya trouble. I beat him at 55 and then went back to do the boring sidequests.

And something completely off topic but: Did Pokemon really show James of team rocket wearing that!? :P

Well the main people I use are Vaan, Balthier and Basch at lvls 63, 64, and 55 respectively, but I heard that he raises a anti-physical shield and the best Spell user I have is lvl 46 Ashe with Scathe.

Also, what are some good equipments to prevent damage and statuses during the fight, and are his special attacks elemental?

and Magus of Zeal, yes, the James thing happened. He got implants to win a bikini contest, the same way Ashe did.

anyways, i don't think any of his attacks are elemental, and i do remember him putting up a paling. when this happened i just rebuffed my characters, no big deal

Buy Maximilian armors at Nabudis and bubble belts at the Mushu bazaar you are OK. His attacks never went higher than 3,000 HP damage to my 8,000 HP guys

Or is it from the clab provisioner? If so, how do I make him sell it, all he sells is a weak item, forgot which though.

yes, the clan provisioner. and you have to do many many hunts in order for him to sell bubble belts. i think you have to do like 30 out of the 45 hunts. the higher rank you are, the better the stuff is that he sells.

Yes, you need to be at least Riskbreaker (Get 200,000 clan points and kill 16 marks) to buy bubble belts there.

Well, I can buy the spell Bubble, Renew, Reverse, and some accessory that reverses item effects. Will any of these help?

All of them! Buy the Nihopaloa if you have the gil, it's great as a weapon!

What does it actually do? Is it like you use a potion on a character, but it damages you?

PROTIP: use them on the enemies. Also things like antidotes.

Yes: Use remedy on an enemy with it equipped and you give the foe at least 8 status ailments :love:

when would it actually happen that he clan provisioner would sell good items? i already have 500+ k clan points with only 8 marks killed....
where's the nechrol whatever the spelling is nabudis found? i'm already level 40- basch, vaan and balthier.... with my reserves ashe (20), penelo (20) and fran (15)...
sorry for being off topic but where's the best place to level up in my current situation that i am still supposed to go to Archades for the first time....
