Would you ever pull a Levian or a Britney Spears (http://www.cnn.com/2007/SHOWBIZ/Music/02/17/britney.bald.ap/index.html) and shave your head bald? Yes or no? Why? :jess:

It seems like Britney likes shaving herself bald.

I would never go bald purposely.

I've done it once, and I had to because I had previously shaven half my head bald. To ensure similarly lengthed hair on both halves of my gorgeous braincave, I had to shave the other side to nothingness as well!

Other than that, however, no. I don't look at all good with it, or even just short hair. Medium or longer is needed for Huxley suave!

Yes, though I enjoy long hair, so such an occurance most likely will never happen until I am older or losing hair.

It's difficult to describe why a bald head is somewhat attractive to me. And I mean this in regards to women as well, though the likely-hood of a woman pulling off a shaved head is rare - but all the more sexy.

Britney has made so much damn mistakes in her life.
Guess this is another one...

Levian

About twice a year. It doesn't really look good the first few weeks but after that it's the bomb, for a few weeks... :mog:

Girls shouldn't go bald, though. 'cause long hair on girls is oh my god.

edit: There's already a thread on britney's baldness in The Lounge so this thread is about baldness okay woohoo.

I don't go bald when I shave my hair just down to an inch or two.

I used to have a grade 3 (3 mm) when I was a kid and once shaved a mohawk in to my hair lolz it sucked.

I wouldn't shave my head bald for a million pounds. I don't think baldness is attractive. Although apparently if somebody goes bald due to illness, you shouldn't be honest an admit they look bloody ugly, an should put a wig on. You have to pretend they look nice because they've been ill. I'm not saying you should tell them to their face they look ugly an should put a wig on, that would be cruel. But when asked for your honest opinion when not in their presence, why be false an pretend they look nice?

I wouldnt go as far as saying bald people look 'Ugly', thats just being rude. They just dont look as attractive, but it depends on what the bald person actually looks like; features and body tone...
So dont say all bald people are hideously looking..!!

No, I would never shave my head. I'm pretty sure my head is lumpy.

It worked for Natalie Portman.

I shaved my head once and it didn't look half-bad. I'll probably have to do it again in a few years. :(

So dont say all bald people are hideously looking..!!It's not being rude. If I walked up to a random bald person in the street, an said: "you're ugly", that would be rude. Me thinking they're ugly, is not rude. To me, a woman looks ugly bald regardless of facial features etc, because they look unfeminine. A bald woman to me, looks like a woman that has dragged herself up as a man.

I got my head shaved last week in fact. So far as "why", my hair was annoying me. Now I can wear a hat without worrying about how messy my head will look. Getting a shower takes 50% as long. So does getting ready for work in the morning. I look a bit like a freak, but it's a very "clean" and "neat" kind of freakish, according to people who have given me their opinions in the past.

But never, ever compare me to Britney Spears.

About twice a year. It doesn't really look good the first few weeks but after that it's the bomb, for a few weeks...

I think mine looks best the week or two after I do it, and gets progressively worse and worse over time. Once it's long enough to actually comb it looks OK again, but there's a part right in the middle between "shaved" and "long enough to comb" where I look like a mutant.

personally i've always had waste long hair, and i just recently cut it to a little longer than shoulder length. haha! i might cut it for the anime convention next year, but so far i'm just gonna grow it out again, and if i have to, i'll use a wig for my cosplay. lol i like my long hair better than my short hair.

Never. I'm so glad I've never gotten lice or anything like that. As much as it annoys me sometimes, I love my hair and the thought of me bald gives me the shudders.

I don't like bald on either people either. My ex shaved his head and oh man it would be terrible looking at him for the first couple weeks.

I love my beautiful hair. People have always been trying to get me to shave it. Jealous fiends. They want me to join them in their suffering? Ha! No. My hair is wonderfully uncut With bonus scenes.

And Brit is, as Shiny so elegantly put it, a histrionic attention whore.

My hair is a national treasure. People love it. Strangers tell me so. I don't know why.

That being said, I'd probably do it if my face weren't so chubby. I don't think she looks half bad, personally.

Britney is truly going crazier by the day. Bald is not her look.

Anyway, I've actually thought about it a couple of times, but I've always ended up not doing it. I like having hair.

I don't want to lose my hair unless its through natural causes, so no, shaved head is never going to happen to me, willingly. I do want my hair to go grey though (or streaks of grey / silver type colours), but that's neither here nor there...

Quite frankly, there's precious few things I love more in this world than bald people. They're beautiful. It drives me crazy, and I attack random bald people all the time, just to stroke their heads.

Every two months I dream of shaving my head bald, but that's just PMS. I wouldn't ever hurt my hair willingly. :-)

Obviously there is paparazzi, but that still doesn't mean Britney Spears isn't craving the attention. She just did that to try to draw attention back to her, because she's not interesting anymore. If she was "normal" she wouldn't have to parade around acting so wild. But, yeah paparazzi have their hands over everything negative in the media. I doubt they told her to shave her hair off though.
