I dont often get addicted to games but Guitar hero 2 is possibly the most addictive game i've played and i have a feeling i might get addicted to FFXII. today i've played the song "thunderhorse" on guitar hero 2 on expert mode at least 8 times. my arms hurt but i cant stop playing it!

the only time i recall staying up till past midnight playing a game was on legacy of kain: defiance. i started halfway through voradors mansion and finally turned the PS2 off before the final boss. the stories twists and things to drag you in completely made me feel i HAD to know what happens next. Its such an exciting game especially when you get to avernus cathedral. i just couldn't stop playing after what happened there!

Guitar hero 2 is addictive to about everyone. Its what i call a contagious game. i played it for the first time on christmas around my cousins house and bought it 2 days later. and im not the only person who's bought it because of my cousins. they had a list of people who had bought it because of them. and now a friend of mine is going to get it too, which is great. its about time i had a jamming buddy for the 2 player modes!

But, when RE2 was released I used to play it all the time. Final Fantasy VIII kept me up until 3 or 4am, and Esthar actually made me have these funny coloured blindspots for about 2 hours after I finished playing. I played FFXII alot too.

Currently DDR:SuperNova has me.

It depends on the game.

Final Fantasy IX, X and X-2, also the III NES rom. Then there's also Startopia, Space Empires, Civilisation: Call to Power, Theme Hospital... (Probably some others too).

Midnight is my target for going to sleep, but after midnight is often how my target gets translated into reality.

Oh yeah. Only really computer games, though, cause playing games on the Playstatiom past night will get me yelled at by the parents.

But yeah, Morrowind, And Vampire Masquerade: Bloodlines have had me playing like all day. It's great while I'm playing, but after I'm done I get so depressed. WHAT AM I DOING WITH MY LIFE, etc. It's like after eating chocolate.

I've been playing FFIX hardcore the past two weeks due to a bunch of snow days and that is how I am. Especially because I have a mountain of homework to dig myself out of. Yuck.

I used to be addicted like whoa to Counter-strike. I'm usually pretty responsible about games, though.

My :skull::skull::skull::skull:ty dorm internet has limited how addicted I can get to online gaming, and I've found that I typically get bored playing a game after a little while and go to do something else. In the past, though, I've definitely put in tons of hours into a game in one sitting. But yeah, I almost never go to bed before midnight, regardless of whether or not I'm playing a game. :p

I got addicted to Philippine Ragnarok Online for a year and a half. It nearly destroyed my life... Good thing I quit before it finally became bot-infested.

Most MMOs are addictive to the core. World of Warcraft, EverQuest, Starcraft, et cetera.

But for a fact, there was this 28 y/o man in South Korea who reportedly collapsed and died in an Internet Cafe after playing Starcraft for more than 50 hours straight.

Also a boy from the same country who played the same game for hours and hours. He was next found dead in the bathroom.

The above two are facts. But afterwards urban rumors about addicts dying in front of their PCs began to proliferate.

I don't get addicted to games very easily. However, there were times when I've played games late into the night. I did that with games like Phoenix Wright, Hotel Dusk, and Tales of the Abyss. Yeah, also Sim City 3000.

Back in my early teenage years, I had absolutely no control over my addiction. Didn't practice self-discipline then.

At least now I'm more grown-up and can now decide when and when not to play. :D

I don't really get addicted to most games, I get bored of them after awhile, then buy new ones, and get bored, and the cycle repeats, some games I haven't played in over 2 years. The only ones I've become really addicted to are GH2 and Step Mania >_<. Also, grr at kikimm for being addicted to a game I want but cannot find (Vampire Masquerade) ;_;.
