Ok, I don't know about any of you, but I am starting to get ticked that Square isn't giving us any Final Fantasy games that let us roam free. The last console version was FF9 and I think that by not allowing us to explore the world with ships we can fly, or chocobos, or boats, it takes alot of fun away from the game. I hate that FF10, 10-2 you can't go wherever whenever. Now in FF12, you kinda get freedom to explore but why will they not make another FF game where we can fly our own ships for crying out loud!!!!:mad2: :mad2:

with the power of the PS3 I am pretty sure that FFXIII will have more open ended areas and it has been confirmed that viechles will play a big role in the game

Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings will have a world map AND Airship Flying again. Yay for airship flying! Yeah, it is not a main FF title, but, at least it's something.

And I agree, SE should bring at least Airship flying back. People might hate world maps, but there's nothing more fun than flying all over the world with a cool airship with nice music just for the heck of it (Hilda Garde 3 is my fav example of this).

Who hates world maps?

Cloud was bigger than Junon! The novelty value kept that game in my Playstation for months.
