Are you saying that I am insincere, my dear butterfly, when I speak those words?

Nominus Experse

If everyone were to suddenly begin speaking it, yes, I would find it unsettling. If it were normal, than it would be exactly that - normal.

No, I can not fathom such an atrocity.

Citizen Bleys

Araciel

It would be funny. The speaker would remind me of Doris Day in ruffled taffeta.

Golly Gee? LMAO I've heard that said and meant in convo before XD it's amazing what people will say when you surprise them and they're left flattered.

Yes, and I wish people would say it more often now. Someone ought to bring "zounds" and "jolly good show" back into fashion, as well.

Quindiana Jones

I still use those words. Not that phrase. But I'll frequently say golly or gee. Along with "By Jingo!", "Great Scott!", "EGAD!", "spiffing", "jolly good" and many other olde termse.

No. :o

I use "shucks" sometimes to replace when I'm about to say shi-, but that's about as far as I go. :</>p

Dr Unne

Yamaneko
02-22-2007, 07:35 PM
Probably those same people say "pop" too 'cause they're living in the past.

Dr Unne
02-22-2007, 07:38 PM
Yes, pop was the correct term in the past as well as present. I'm not sure what you're getting at.

What I'm getting at is your kind are the same people who wanted to encourage ignorance by stalling the progression of science into our schools. You were content worshiping magic pixies and drinking pop.

Madonna

I thought "pop" was synonymous with "dad". What are you two getting at, Yams and Unne?!
