If you're going to crit work, you really need to have the work to back your statements. If you tell me I'm bad at life drawing, then I'll show you life drawing and we can compare our work. As I have a degree in digital art, I can say that I've been in years of critique situations, and while I thank you for your praise, just telling me to draw better isn't going to help. This image was completely rendered with referenced images, and I'm confident with it. I'm posting it here to share it as a FF piece.

I have to agree with Black Orb that the perspective in the drawing is a bit wonky. It could just be that there's so little else in the picture to really give us a good sense, bu the picture has this feeling like the room is being viewed at an angle, while Gabranth seems to be sitting straight up with respect to the pictures borders. The perspective itself may be correct, but it looks strange to the eye.

That's just my take on it though. Other than that everything else is done extremely well.

Twas' meant to be surreal. Structurally speaking the left leg should extend downwards, the lighting and shadows should be deeper and the carpet shouldn't be as contrasty as it is. But! Such is life. Thanks for the ideas :)
