Due to recent incidents I completly forgot about this so listen up.

two days ago I met LeVar Burton the guy who plays la forge on star trek in the mall where I work. He was checking in the barber shop supercuts which was near our store. We had a good realation with the people who work at supercuts and a girl came by and told us he was there, she was like "you guys LeVar Burton is at our shop right now!" I was stunned this was my first time meeting a celeberty. I was one of those people who always skuff's off celeberty's when people talk about them arrogently remarking there just people like everyone else. But I had to admit it was strangley exciting. But only because la forge was my favorite character in star trek. So I go into the shop and he's having his hair twisted into a braid but I was surprised and sort of speechless. He really has grown old I coulden't even recognize him as the actor I knew. I said hello its nice to meet you Levar, he said oh nice to meet you to :greenie:

I then told him you were my favorite character in star trek he said "emem you said the magic word star trek." and I continued from there. He was a nice guy I have to admit he was really old now but still it was one of those rare times when I met someone and actually felt good about meeting them. before I left he asked me my name I told him and said it was great meeting you I really hope you guys finish the series and thats that. :)

So any familiar experiance hell just a time when you at least met someone you were excited about and felt good afterwords?

Reading Rainbow for the win.

I've seen a lot of bands but I guess that doesn't really count too much. The only person I ever actually talked to was Tony Lovato from Mest. It was pretty cool.

I've met quite a few famous people, mainly musicians but I'll list the ones I remember:

Disturbed (they were the first David Draimen is truly a great guy me and him spoke for 30 minutes just us two)

Lost Prophets (I met them after a gig due to a security mess up which gained me admittance to the green room where they were drinking and chilling out, the band were really cool about it and let me stay)

Simple Plan

Lemar (was drunk and went in to a chineese take away with mates, he was at the same place ordering food, the woman asked us if we recognised him and we drew a blank, 20 seconds after leaving the shop the penny dropped and I went back and said "wait I know, you're that guy from fame academy, Lemar right?" he nodded and I was like "oh my sister would kill me for not getting your autograph for her..." he went to give it me on a piece of paper and I quickly added "however she's a bitch and I think you're crap so whatever" and walked off leaving him dumbstruck...the girl with him laughed. My friends were just like "drunk steve is good steve"

Kelly Osbourne (long story....ick)

Matt Willis (Busted, he was in that band at the time, my mates and I beat him up in a club for punching my mate in the face after being hit on the head with a plastic bottle. I left that fight with two broken fingers from hitting someone wasn't sure if I got him or my mate)

non musicians include

Avid Merrion

Chris Evans

Jonathan Ross

Stephen Fry

an old old arsenal manager George something or other, back when I was a kid

Dianna Princess of Wales (visited the hospital ward I was on)

Maggie Thatcher (used to live opposite the conservative offices of North Finchley, her constituency, my sister and I pulled faces at her from our windows, funnily she returned them.)

Matt Hoffman (taught me a quick flatland trick on BMX too)

Those are the ones I remember the most. And yeah they're normal people treat them as such and they're cool.

My mom once accidentally hit Demi Moore with her purse. That's about as close as any in my family have ever come to real celebrities. I once got my picture with Kenny Aronoff at a drum clinic, but unless you're a drummer, you may not have heard of him. The man is amazing though.

I met Bon Jovi when I was 2 years old. He sat right next to me in a local diner. If only I was knowledgeable enough to tell him that he sucked.

Oh, and I stood in a bog next to Jim Caviezel wearing a viking costume and freezing my ass off, but I didn't know he was there until a week after it had happened.

I ran into Rick Mercer at a cafe in Halifax, but I imagined he'd be sick of people going "OMFG you're that guy from This Hour!" so after the initial double-take, I studiously ignored him.

Maggie Thatcher (used to live opposite the conservative offices of North Finchley, her constituency, my sister and I pulled faces at her from our windows, funnily she returned them.)

I just tried to imagine Iron Maggie making faces and my brain exploded under the strain. Thanks a lot ASSFACE

I met the bass/guitar player or whatever from sum41. His other band "Brown Brigaide" played at a local club in my city, so yeah.

I've met a few celebrities, growing up in Southern California with relatives in Beverly Hills, but I'd trade any of them for Tim Burton. :o

I saw Michael Barrymore at Croydon shopping centre. I also met Cobra from the UK version of Gladiators. My mum's met Prince Charles though and apparently shook his 58 year old hand
