(not necessarily referring to computers)
I like the ones in popcorn that are half popped and they're still a kernel shape, but they're soft and chewable. They're delicious. It's like the flavor of a whole piece of popcorn compounded into a tiny area of goodness.

I don't particularly like popcorn, but for some reason if someone else makes some I have trouble resisting grabbing a few out of the bag.
Also, Ubuntu apparently discontinued the k7 kernel line in favor of a linux-generic kernel, which is way lame to me. I like being able to declare my AMD fanboyism in every way possible, especially in my kernel types.

I don't enjoy popcorn, and I don't know enough of computer kernels and the like to make a witty post concerning those.
So, basically, I can't take part in this topic, but I am posting all the same.

Popcorn chicken, obviously, is the superior "popcorn".

Pumpkin seeds are nice or Sunflower seeds, I guess they count as having kernels.

I thought about computer kernels when first reading the topic. :o I don't know anything about them aside from their basic function.
Popcorn kernels are okay. I imagine pepper would be godly on them.
2.6.18-r4 is my favourite. I haven't tried any later ones, but I expect I'd like them more.

I like the simple:
