4 White Mages...

[Nugget Mage]

I'm Currently Doing the 4 White Mage "challenge" and... it's not that hard. Actually it's a really good party, look what I did versus Kary:

4 shots of FOG2, + AFIR, + MUTE and she was done for.

I could beat giants in the power peninsula when I was lvl 10. Not just 1 time, but 3. + the occasional encounter with ZomBulls.

And right now they are doing really good. They can beat whatever they want. With all their protective magic, they have complete inmunity Versus ANYTHING. Add the Magic Casting Items and FADE and this party is all-mighty.

Why people say this is a bad party? It's one of the best!

I want to diss that, but, actually, it's only a few levels higher than average for Kary.
(I would say that normal lv. to beat Kary with an average party is 15-16)

I beat the game with 4 WMs a long time ago. I don't remember it being too hard because
1. There's so much undead (Easy to Kill)
2. Powerful items like Zeus, Thor's, Mage Staff etc. keep you alive through the water Dungeons
3. FADE is the White NUKE.
4. Plus, of course, all the healing and resistance you need.

It's a fun party if you're into it.

I like my Silver Sword though. rm/wm/wm/wm

I think I beated Astos at lvl 10 or 9. Perhaps 8, I don't remember correctly. I stopped playing like months ago, but I just restarted.

Well, If I got those lvls, it was because I first went to the castle of ordeals to get the Zeus Gauntlet. I tried the Volcano at lvl 16, but the lack of attack power made the dungeon impossible. The Monsters didn't killed me, my buffs helped, but I just dealt 1 dmg with the Silver Hammers. It was... impossible. Maybe that's why I got so many lvls.

I also didn't beat the dungeon in the first try. I went once to get all the treasures I could. Then I went back to the inn, rested, went again to get more treasures and so on. Until I grabbed everything and I went Versus Kary. ...I needed money for the Magic!

I think that + the Castle gave me a lot of lvls.

Add the Magic Casting Items and FADE and this party is all-mighty.

Four WW isn't too too hard. Harder than the average party though. Try to beat the game without class change. Then you don't get FADE. Or EXIT, so no Masamune for fast leveling.

Yep, I always hit the castle as soon as possible too.
