Is there a way for me to customize my Firefox toolbars so that I don't have to customize them again the next time I start up? I always have to add the Clipmarks button and get rid of the Bookmarks toolbar every time I start Firefox.

There must either be something wrong with your install, or some weird option enabled, because all the customizations I've made stay the same every time I open/close Firefox. I just tried disabling the Bookmarks toolbar, exiting, and starting Firefox back up, and it was still gone.

Same here, Azar. The issue roto is listing is nothing I've ever heard or seen before.

I can't think of what might be causing this, roto... So odd...

Firefox might not have write access to where it tries to save your preferences, or something.

Backup (export) your bookmarks, then close Firefox and delete "C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR_USERNAME\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox" (or rather than delete it, move it to somewhere else so you can restore it if necessary).

Next time you start Firefox it will give you a blank profile. Try to edit the icons on the toolbar and restart it and see if it worked. If it did, re-import your bookmarks from the export you made above, and then reinstall all the themes and extensions you care about.

(You didn't tell me Application Data would be hidden. :P)

That worked. Thanks. (Instead of redownloading all of my extensions, I just kept my old extensions folder and moved it into the new profle.)

PROTIP: Windows hides any system folder you could ever need to use. Unhide them by default.

Your quote buttons seem to be in the upper left corner of your sig. (At least on my screen.)
