Has anyone seen this anime? It's become one of my favourites pretty quickly. I only started watching it because of thet Desu Monster business, but it turned out to be pretty badass.

All the characters are freakin' awesome, especially Shinku and her constant abuse of Jun~<3

I've seen it, not too bad a series. Though I wish they would make a third season and conclude things, it felt a little too open ended. But meh I've seen more un-concluded endings before in a series.

Though personally I didn't like Shinku all too much, her personality annoyed me too much. I much preferred Suisei-seki and her constant insane plans. Though I thought her twin sister was a dude when I watched the opening. I was surprised when they finally gave her a gender definitive pronoun.

Yeah, I went to the god known as Mr. Wiki, though I would kind of like to hear personal opinions more, considering that half the article on Wikipedia is tagged by spoilers... It does sound half-way interesting.

I'm not using my bandwidth for anything else. May as well fill it with this.

Cheeky cheeky.

The shows kind of complicated and convoluted and stuff, but it's about these dolls called "Rozen Maidens." They were made by this fellow they call Father, and they're alive and all that jazz.

In the first episode, this kid Jun sort of gets Shinku (a Rozen Maiden) thrust upon him by chance and then a killer clown doll attacks them. In order to be saved, Jun 'swears' to Shinku and becomes her servant (Medium). Shinku uses Jun's energy and strength to fight.

There's alot more to it, but it's all explained as the series goes on. The show has episodes where it's more character development than plot development episode 5 for instance. The show mainly focuses on this thing called the Alice Game, which I won't explain either because the premise is a bit of a spoiler I guess.

Also: After having watched up to episode 10, I'm gonna agree with Bahamut2000X and say my favourite character is Suiseiseki just because she's so deliciously evil. Hina is pretty funny too, mostly because she's so ridiculously cute all the time.

I don't much care for Souseiseki though, she's a bit plain and boring all the time.

I'm kind of miffed. I just finished watching the first season, and it ended amazingly and beautifully, albeit creepily, JunxShinku is wierd.

So, I was all ready for some sort of desu monster to appear that actually repeated "desu" over and over again. After I finished watching the 12th episode, I checked out the wiki page for Rozen Maiden since I didn't have to worry about spoilers anymore. HOWEVER, it turns out that the desu monster is Suiseiseki because she says 'desu' after almost everything.

Cuz I'm not Japanese, nor do I speak it, I didn't pick up on this. Now I'm sad I didn't notice it :(
