Along with Fran (dear GOD! Her voice is pure milk and honey) Balthier is my favourite character, even though I like the whole main cast (turns out you can get used to Vaan :D).
I think Balthier is a bit like a hybrid between James Bond (classy ladies' man) and Jack Sparrow (pirate who doesn't do anything that doesn't bring him benefit).

Balthier's the leading man; how can you not like him! Aside from Ashe it seems like he'd have the best overall hygeine of the group. ;)

(Balthier and Fran there) Balthier, Fran, Penelo.
(No Penelo) Balthier and Fran.

I always use that couple. It just seemed silly not to.

I always use Balthier and Fran together. It seems a shame to split those two up. My party at the moment consists of Balthier, Fran and Ashe. I think theres a little love triangle going on there!
