Knuckles is way better. He's just awesome. And Tails sucks!

Sonic, but I voted Tails sucks because thats a fact whereas who would win between Sonic and Knuckles is opinion.

I was obsessed with both of them when I was a wee lil' gamer. I'd have to choose Sonic, though, only because Knuckles isn't playable in Sonic CD.

Sonic has always been a suave character, and while Knuckles had a pretty rad personality, his appeal was pretty fucked when Sonic Team made him such a retard in the Sonic Adventure games, and gave him those find the crystal stages that were absolutely atrocious.

I like those treasure hunting stages. :( Knuckles was the first character I finished Sonic Adventure 1 with.

Knuckles has also seemed pretty suave. And yeah, don't bother with post Game Cube sonic. Sonic games suck when they get slowed down
