Judges are cool I guess, even though their armours are extremely impractical, as if that ever stopped FF before.

Well anyway, it looks as though FFXII is my favourite so far (along with FFVI - haven't played III and IX yet...)! I love every aspect of it! The graphics! The story! The music! The Judges! Fran!... Fraaaan... :drool:

Lord knows the series really needed this game. I feel it truly sets the bar in terms of game design (wait, you mean I actually get to play and not have to watch a cutscene every five minutes?!:eek: ) and world design. Ivalice is quite possibly the greatest world in the FF series.

I love the cast and the story. I especially love Judge Gabranth:love:

I love the expansiveness of the game. This is no doubt the most expansive and detailed console Final Fantasy ever made. That would have to be my favorite quality of it.

onyl part i dindt care for was the majority of the summons but then again i like how you use them in battle and i like how you have to fight each one to obtain them. just didnt think they looked cool enough but its not a fashion show its a game.

the areas in the game were cool too. the phon coast was the coolest i thought.

I loved the Gambit system too. Usualy I'm bored by combat. It's what you do to get enough points to see the next part of the story. But I loved experimenting with new Gambits and combinations. Plus I could occasionaly just sit back and watch Balthier pose.:D

Lots of locations, all as pretty as Myst. I found myself running back through locations to look at the scenery. The reflecting mist in the Feywood was facinating. A simple but very dramatic effect.

I liked Fran and Balthier's story. I wish there was more story from Vaan and any story at all from Penelo.

So far I'm loving it. I really do like the characters, and so far the story -- as well as the expansive areas to explore (just shy of an MMO's world). So far I'm around 30 hours into it, at the beach (whatever it's called).

Gambits, I don't see why people complain about them a lot. It's like, some people think you have to use them all the time..or you have to rely on them a lot. Not really =P

Considering Cuchulainn predates Goobbue by half a decade (He appears in FFTactics as well as Adrammalech, Ultima, Belias, Zalera, Hashmal, and Zodiark as the Lucavi) I think we can say it's the other way around...;)

at the very beginnig - before the game released -
I was kind'a disappointed - because the fighting system changed.
qickly I turned to play shadow hearts II - just to taste the joy of the old school battles.

but hey !
this is Final Fantasy we're talking about.
the reason that makes me love the RPG stile.
then I try the game (FF XII)
I amaized by this huge step that the game develops.
man until now I'm proud of FF series.
I like the real time battles and the game over all.

I love the Gambit system too. And Fran and Balthier make the game awesome.:D
