Help, stuck!

I'm at the Tomb of Raithwall, and I have defeated the two Demon Wall bosses, but now Im in the next are where the three teleport stones are. The one in the middle that teleports you back to the entrance, the two on the sides that takes you to the Southend and Northend passageway. I've visited both the south and north and touched both of the glowing stones in the wall but I don't know how to go further in the game from this point on. I've even read a couple of walkthroughs that are all claiming the same thing; that if you touch the stones in the northern/southern passageways, some stairs are supposed to appear and take you down or whatever. Well, I did that and guess what? NO STAIRS, no nothing!

There are actually 6 touchstones: 4 yellow, one green and one blue. A new chamber shows up after you finish both sides (green and blue).

Basically there is a secret chamber in the southern section. Once you touch the gem and defeat the monsters, it will open up. Follow the route and open a door at the end of it. You'll find that you will encounter something afterwards.
