Okay, so, I was watching Full House last night, which always makes me really emotional even though I've watched every important episode, because that's just the affect the show has on me. Anyway, it was the episode where Stephanie has to get glasses and STEVE URKEL guest stars! But I didn't realize this despite seeing this episode a good 5 or 6 times. So as soon as I saw him, I was so excited I ran around the room hyperventilating and yelling his name and waving my hands in the air, total squee scene. I love Urkel. It was as if Family Matters and Full House had a big love child and Steve Urkel was the baby daddy. :jess:

Anyway, when you get excited, is it highly visible/noticeable? Could you call it a squee?

Sometimes, though it's really nothing comparable to that of a squeee! or roaring laughter.

More of a small chuckle than anything else.

So I make a giddy, high-pitched squeal when I get really excited. Or I just make a loud WHOA, depending on the scenario.

I start dancing and singing my old school song, usually, but I don't make high pitched sounds unless someone does something offensive to me, like slapping my hind-quarters.

You know, the more I think about Rye's fit of happiness, the more hilarious it is. That's such a wonderful mental image.

Well, occasionally I gasp and laugh (e.g. whenever something reminds me of my crazy and yet funny history teacher), but most of the time I just chuckle. :)

I usually do the standard Whoahoo YEAH! and jump driving my fist in the air before clenching them and bracing myself in a "ALL RIGHT HAHAH" manner before finally jumping with a "HAhaha"..someone usually gets hurt

Hmm... I dunno. If I get excited I can't sit still? *shrug* I don't get horribly excited all that often. xD And I have never squee'd. xD

i'm almost incapable of making a high-pitched sound

anyhow, when i get excited, i tend to insult people and smack them aroun' some.

It depends on what it is! I don't generally squee, but I do "OMG WTF" when I watch Heroes or BSG.

And you know, if I get a new console, or am heading on VACATIONS somewhere, there's plenty of squee xD

I try not to squee, but I do have those moments. I'm more of an "OH SHT" type person. My girlfriend squeees though. :3

I become filled with exuberance. Then I stand to attention with an unflinching fortitude like no other.

I'm not even sure what a squee sounds like and if someone did it I'd probably kill them. Regardless you could base my excitment on fidgeting.

I somewhat squee though I am not capable of high pitched noise, though it is more of a "Eeeeee!" then me having a series of fidgeting involving a combination of kick my legs in excitement or pound the bed/couch with my forearm/fists really fast.
