I have a few questions about Final Fantasy VI. Observing Amano's works, I've been looking over the 'familiars' hovering around the characters. Ever notice that spiky ball that floats near Terra in some of the drawings? Cool, as far as I know, each character in FF6 (and many other FFs) have an Amano representation and a small creature that follows them around. I've never noticed this in FF6 but, it's definitely in Amano's art.
So I play this other game :eek: I know. It's called Guild Wars (http://www.guildwars.com). Kinda like FFXI only, you don't pay monthly payments (and no chocobos lol). Well, being an FFVI fan, I had to name my GW characters after FF6 characters. Guild Wars introduced a 'feature' in the game a while ago where 'miniature pets' follow you around, in and out of towns or battle. Other than very, very minor advantages in battle, they are purely just for giggles.
Here's where you come in: Minipets from Guild Wars = Creature-Friends from Amano. What Minipet should I give to which FF6 character; resembling the Amano counterpart the most. (trying not to use the same pet twice, but I will if it seems fitting)

Terra - [Miniature Greased Lightning] (Kirin)
Locke - [Asura -moogle? (http://www.guildwars.com/press/asurapet.php)]
Edgar - (Kuunavang)
Shadow - (Jade Armor), Shadow already has a normal sized pet named Interceptor
Rachel - {There is a normal sized pet of 'phoenix', but I couldn't bring it along effectively because of her class}
Relm - {only seen 1 amano work with a little chocobo caricature} (Pig)
Cyan - {no clue}
Kefka - {no clue} (could delete for another character if someone wants to design; Must be Necromancer class)
Gogo - (Temple Guardian)
Celes - {Bird?}
Sabin - (Hydra)
(Umaro could be a minipet himself (Yeti), but I don't know where to put him if I had him. I probably can't acquire that minipet anyway :cry:)

I may make a Gau character someday. Sabin and Celes aren't even created yet, but I'm waiting for the next campaign to come out. I have no plans to make Setzer, Strago or Umaro, yet. I would have made Banon as my healer character but beards didn't come out in GW until recently; I'm not making another healer, I can't change my character name and I cant grow a beard in-game. :D
