I am curently trying to do the Children of Ur side quest. I am sending letters to the characters, but they are not replying back. I was just wondering if I have to be playing the game for them to reply.

Also, a question I have. When I add someones friend code, than try to send them a letter, their friend code is grayed out, thus I can not click on it. Any help with be appriciated. Thank you in advance for your answers and help.

Hmmm. It really sucks that people can think they can come here, and ask questions. Though when most people do, no one replys to them. Like this Topic for example. No one has posted to try and help. All I found out about the problem is that im not the only one. Now I know that I need to go somewhere else to get answers to my questions.

Well if someone had a question, that is fairly important to them, they do not want to sit around, waiting for a reply.

Okay, i'm just going to add the answers for future referance.

1) Some Characters will only reply if you have met certain requirments. For example, i found that for Cid to reply for the 4th letter, you must have already sent four letters to Alus and the 4 Old Men (possibly the others aswell, i wasn't really paying that much attention).

Anyway, Characters will always send a response straight away, there is no need to wait. Therefore, by the time you've turned of your game to stop playing, the reply has already been sent!

2) For the game to confirm friend codes, you must first go to the Moghouse, and click on Farway Friends. Aswell as checking for recived mail, this will confirm that both you and your friend have both exchanged friend codes, so you can then start sending mail to each other! When this happens, those grayed out friend codes will become white.

Yes you can't send a message to someone who hasn't also added you.
