does penelo actually dance in the game, on the lake with that iridescent piece of material (i don't actually have it but am planning on getting it soon - so no spoilers!), cos it looked really pretty i was just randomly wondering if it does happen?

This is from a scene from the Jump Fiesta trailer for FFXII's sequel, FFXII: Revenant Wings for Nintendo DS.

It's not out yet, so we can only speculate.

The only other thing that sounds remotely similar is when Yuna dances on the lake in FFX for the Sending, but I don't think that's what you're talking about.

Of course, I haven't actually beaten FFXII yet, but I'm close, and I don't forsee any Penelo dancing before the end.

I have beaten it and no she doen't dance. But in the very last scene of the game she puts a cute outfit similar to the one in the pic.

The original poster isn't talking about Revenant Wings, I believe they're referring to this pic:

And the answer is no, she doesn't. Her third and final quickening technique "Resplendence" looks quite similar to it though.

Penelo does do some athletic moves after a boss fight victory, but not quite a dance and not in that cute outfit in the picture

Ahh, it's the picture/short animation they used when they were publicizing FFXII's impending release.

I really wish they would hae included that scene...

Nope, her outfit in FFXII is black, the one in the picture is red, right ?

Maybe it is the one she uses on the last game scene.

Penelo's outfit in XII is mainly yellow and a dark blue. In the ending of XII, she seen wearing the outfit that she will apparently be wearing in Revenant Wings, which is red and gray/black ensemble.

Penelo dances in some of her Quickenings. They are more of short jigs, as they do not last long and are rather silly. I have not seen Penelo dance on any other occasion in FFXII.

I'm so confused, in my memory she's mostly green. Maybe thats my eyes mixing blue and yellow... And her hair is certainly not pink in game!

why do they keep making sequels to final fantasy to little gadgets i don't have and don't care to buy.
