Recycled Voice Actors

I got really annoyed when I heard Al Cids voice... "BROTHER?! GET OUT OF HIS BODY!!" And Maechen was playing the old dreaming guy... Have you noticed any other recycled voice actors? Does it bother you, or ruin the feel of things?
If you were a voice actor, who would you play? :O

..Do you seriously expect everyone to be voiced by someone completely new? If they have been paid to do voices in other video games, why not use them again? It's a job, and it's always nice to see VA's doing more game related stuff. =P

Voice actors are "recycled" all the time. It's what they do for a living, do you expect them all to retire after a single game/cartoon?

Why would it ruin the feel of the game? Good voice actors get a lot of work for a reason. If anything I like hearing voice actors I've heard before because I like to see actors I'm a fan of getting more work. A lot of these people are very talented and deserve their success.

Hahaha! Now that's funny! Vaan was played by a 17 year old and Tidus was played by a 31 year old and Vaan's voice is deeper. Poor, poor James.

It seems no matter how many women these game characters show interest in, they're always being called gay. I'm beginning to think that being heterosexual doesn't make you straight anymore.

I like hearing voice actors I've heard before. Like Mirage said, it's their job, so they're going to keep getting new projects often. I become fans of them :jess:

I don´t have a problem with voice actors being recycled as long as it isn´t in the same game.

I have a problam with Fran´s voice, since my mother language isn´t English I sometimes finds it hard to hear what Fran says which leads to that I can´t understand her just some parts.

I love Balthier´s voice, in some way it remineds me of the Vampire Spike from the TV series Buffy the vampire slayer.

As a side note, Ashe's antics definitely threw me off a times: Whooo! and her strangely sensuous sounds whilst perishing are ones that have already been mentioned.

Wait, wah? You just blew my mind and had me looking at IMDB to see what other games he's done. I had no idea he was some of those characters which shames me greatly. Dwight's the man.

No offense, but that could possibly be the worst list of voice actors for those characters imaginable. Pierce Brosnan as Balthier would be about the only one that isn't bad, although I think Balthier's current voice actor is perfect.
