Armor for Edward

I'm trying to unlock the Bard's trial in the lunar ruins, and that means beating the game with Edward in the party. However, I can't seem to find adequate body armor for him. He's currently equiped with a Black Belt, and his defence is about 39, I think. Is there a better armor I could use? If so, where would I get it?

Vishnu Vest in the Lunar Ruins is the only decent armor he gets, unfortunately.

You can get most of Edwards best equipment (Red Jacket/Red Cap) in the Cave of Trials. You can also get a Vishnu Vest in the Lunar Ruins near where you fight Zeromus EG, although I'm not 100% certain Edward can equiped that, it might only be for Yang.

Oh, and there's Adamant Armour, good luck getting that. :p

Edit #2 (to avoid another post): Thanks! Lookls like I overlooked the red equipment in the cave of trials. The Coronet, too. This is just what I needed.

i got all of the cave of trial crap and still zeromus was an extreme pain. i reccomend the phsyco edward glitch here. but watch out for the black hole spell he does, it will negate it.

why thank you. do you know how to do the phsyco edward glitch?
if not ill tell you.
1. Kill him
2. revive him
3. cast beserk on him BEFORE HE HIDES OF SCREEN!!!!
4. watch in awe as he comes back and attacks madly and nonstop and cannot be harmed by anything!
I love doin that but black hole(a spell zeromus casts) negates the beserk thus ending the glitch.
