It comes ready, as long as you have wireless internet.

Right. DS has it, but if you don't have any kind of WiFi access, you can't use it. There is a USB dongle that Nintendo sells that allows the DS (and the Wii) to access Nintendo's WiFi Connection through it, if you don't have Wireless internet on your own. EB should have that.
