I'm wondering, primarilly, about FF1 NES, the 1-50 system. Not the 1-99 system.

If Origins works off that system, then it applies.

You may comment on other systems, of course, for the sake of discussion, I suppose. It will not be pertinent to my interests, but I don't want to exclude anybody. Who knows, I might do math one day and make it pertinent.

Well, I beated the game at lvl 30 with my 4 White Wizards. I never beated the game with a normal party so that's when I beated the game... FOR THE FIRST TIME.

I hate to interrupt the thread, but:

Beat.

Not beated. Beated isn't a word. It's an atrocity. Never say that again to an english speaker.

I usually complete the game around level 24 or so. I rarely spend time training my characters, so that's usually the level I am at when I get to the end.

Largely depends on the party. 24-27 usually. But sometimes by the time I get to the ToF I'm over 30 just from naturally fighting everything in sight.

Sorry.

English is not my first language, so sometimes I make mistakes. Even If I have being speaking it... for 12 years!

...hey! At least I don't come up with crap like "All your base are belong to us", don't complain! but let's get back to the topic:

...I allready said it, but I beat the game at lvl 30.

I beat the game for the first time yesterday, and everyone was 22. I used 3 Knights and a Red Wizard, so that's why my levels were low. They would've been lower if it wasn't for all of the random encounters in the ToF.

- 1st game: Fi/Fi/Wm/Bm on NES. I beat the game on level 36.
- 2nd game: Fi/Fi/Rm/Wm on WSC. I beat the game on level 32 or so.
- 3rd game: Fi/Th/Rm/Wm on WSC. Level 50 (the only time I maxed my levels).
- 4th game: Fi/Bb/Rm/Bm on WSC. Levels 29-30 or so.

I also played two games on FF Origins, Fi/Th/Rm/Wm on normal difficulty (50 is the max level) and Fi/Th/Wm/Bm on easy difficulty (99 is the max). I can't remember what my levels exactly were when I beat the game, though.

(NES version) a quick check of my rom (I own the original cart, but play it on a rom nowadays for convenience) shows that last time I played the game I beat it with a fighter, thief, red mage, and white mage around levels 27. Except for around Elfheim I never have to level up in the game, I just don't run away from random encounters. Since one comes along every 6 seconds, it's not hard to walk through the game at a brisk pace if you've got a good party.

Between level 25 and 30 on the NES version, and over 45 on the GBA. Wow, this is actually a really old thread that's been revived, dating back to when I temporarily had no internet access.

I am working on the PSP version. I just exited the Citidel of Trails (I think that's what it's called) and I am at level 36.

- 1st game: Fi/Th/Wm/Bm on NES. I beat the game on level 28.
- 2nd game: Fi/Th/Wm/Bm on DoS. I beat the game on level 93 (I played through the Soul of Chaos before beating Chaos)

Shouldn't be this thread closed already? o.o

My problem was FF1 was pretty much the first RPG i'd ever played, I had no idea what I was doing so alot of wandering around happened.

Sometime later I realized I was completely over powered and found a guide on the game.

That actually tends to happen alot in rpg-ish games.

Editaga: I think I was in the mid 30's? I can't remember.

Usually around 40 that way I can beat warmech. I usually like to do that before I kill chaos.
