View Full Version : Question concerning a hair removal product...

The thing is, I kinda like to shave my legs every now and then, and so I used some hair removal product a while ago.
I read that I had to remove the gel with some razor-like tool (I forget what it's called), but I find it much easier to just take a shower and get rid of the gel that way.

Can you do this?
I mean, I'm just wondering whether or not I *have to* use the razor-thing or not.

Try both ways and see which is better. Though usually if the product comes with a razor and says you should use it then you should, really xD

Well, I guess you should be using the razor-thingy, but hey, if the gel does its job without, then don't. It's that simple. :p

I say just do whatever works best.

Are you talking about products like Nair and Veet? I never use the thing that comes with them because it doesn't seem to do much.

my cousin put it on his head and...his hair instantly melted into his hands/creamy nair product...maybe yours is expired or something I dunno:confused:

The little razor tool is more so you don't burn yourself on the hair remover, I think. That stuff is really strong and painful, I burnt myself really bad with Nair and I've never touched it again.

You dont have to use the razor tool - but I think it would be best to avoid ingrowns ;D

Well if you're like me having elegant legs is very important so avoid the razor as yes ingrowns are real.

Use the razor thing, really. You'll get better results with it. Are you confused yet? So far everyone's half and half. (use the razor thing)

If it's like the one I have, it's not an actual razor so much as a convenient piece of plastic to scrap off cream.

Well, does this mean I can just use water in order to remove the cream?

I'm glad I'm a bloke and I'm glad I always wear pants/jeans, even in summer :/ This whole cosmetic care lark sounds like too much hard work, really. I don't go any further than shaving my beard off and getting my head shaved once a month.

You just use this cream and wait a few minutes, then you remove it. :D

Shaving your legs with an actual razor is MUCH more time-consuming.
