..and I hate technology for giving us ps2 and ps3.
I want the old ps1 back, whitch limits the "cool" and "improved" things the developers can implement.

I want to walk on a worldmap, fly around on the worldmap, and maby ride some chocobos with different colours...is that to much to ask for?

:whaaa: :whaaa:

Rejoice! For Revenant Wings will include a worldmap. Just look at these shots.

We need a return to tradition. Not just video games, but all forms of entertainment from movies, to music, literature, we live in times of mediocrity. We need that FF feeling that made you excited to advance the plot and get your next ability.

World maps, different colored chocobos, all that too. With all the money put into videogames these days, you'd think we could have our cake and eat it.

For once in an FF game you actually travel all over the world map.

I would have it no differant.

rather then be resized about 50x normal height.

It makes sense to travel across the world like you normally would do, and not traipse around, like 200 feet taller then every city/town on a world map.

I didn't like the world map, it kind of frustrated me. I liked being in a more closed in area, and all the pixels hurt my eyes. Pretty backgrounds I like :)

Who gives a flying smurf what makes sense.

I pray for a time when no maps are given. When one must simply go on their instincts to get where they want to go. Talk to the people, ask for directions.

For once in an FF game you actually travel all over the world map.No, you don't. Been to Rozarria lately? ;)

Anyway, the game is set in one area of the world, and not the whole of Ivalice. There's no need to travel the range of the entire planet, so there's no need for the world map.

Don't swear at me. For once I'm happy to actually explore lands, you know, like you would do if you were travelling from place to place, same with X, and X-2.

I know it's FF, but do you seriously think that because of there not being a world map, it's not FF? Eh, whatever.

Well I miss the old worldmap, and think the new system is :skull::skull::skull::skull:.

And exploring a huge worldmap is one of the things I really love about FF, so its up to each indidvidual.

Oh, and I swear all I want.
