The First Annual FF7 Competition Extravaganza - Round One!

Prepare to be amazed, EoFFers, as Rye (who won't be posting in size 1 font for this post) and Levian return to bring you a whole new competition to tickle your fancies and make your rosy cheeks dimple with mirth! :jess:

However, unlike the last competition, the FFX Character Costume Competition, we've decided to have 5 rounds different rounds based on FF7 in general rather than designing costumes to keep you little socks on your toes. My, what a surprise, you cry out. Yes, I know, my dears. And now, if you would, come and read the rules and outlines of this fine competition. There aren't many, but I'm sure they'll help:

Rules and Outlines:

- In this competition, everyone will be given an assignment that they need to illustrate (unless specified otherwise) in MS Paint. We picked MS Paint because it's fun and it makes it fair for everyone. You can copy and paste images into it though, to make it more interesting, of course. And some rules about the submissions:


* No nudity (Or rather, if the character is not human and is technically "naked", don't draw them with nude male/female private parts on them.)

* Don't bash on other people's submissions or you'll incur the wrath of Levian's Norwegian Viking Powers

* Save your image as a JPG file or you'll incur the wrath of Rye's horny parrot railing slut powers

* We'll be posting the submissions anonymously all at the same time to be fair, so DO NOT point out your submissions. The name of each artist and their submission will be revealed after voting in each round by us, don't worry.



- You will be given around 5 days to complete your task, unless otherwise specified. Rye and Lev find that this is a fair amount of time without it dragging along the competition too much. You will be reminded a day or two before the due date to send in your submissions!

- You must PM your submissions to BOTH Rye and Levian. We cannot stress this enough. If you send it to only one of us, it makes it hard for us to keep track of the submissions.

- You will be given 2 days to vote at the end of each round on your favorite submissions. We'll further instruct you on how to do this when the time comes. But expect our favorite chocobo boy, loony bob penetrated me to be our beloved vote tally person again. ;]

- Though we will be having sign ups for 5 days before we start the competition, anyone can join after the sign up date if they PM Rye and Levian to ask. However, it's in your best interest to sign up in the beginning, because it'll be harder to win if you've missed the points from round one, of course!

Round 1:
The Baby of X and Y Character

In this round you need to draw your idea of the baby of any two FF7 characters on MS Paint, even if it's not physically possible. It can be Cloud x Aeris, Barret x Cid, Ruby Weapon x Elmyra, Heidegger and Restore Materia, whatever! Just use your imagination. Save it .JPG and provide a short description about your drawing.

* Submit your drawing to Levian AND Rye.
* Your submissions are due no later than Friday 30 at 7:00 PM in New York (East USA) time. You can find out what it'd be for you using this converter here (http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter.html). It'd be appreciated if you'd submit them as early as possible.

Yeah, since not many people submitted anything, I'm postponing posting the submissions until Friday. So you people have until FRIDAY and that is the very latest. Then I will post them anonymously by letter (Submission 1 is A, Submission 2 is B, etc) and then you guys vote for the top three letters of your choice. I'll explain it more on Friday.
