Ok, My party is as follows:

Balthier: Lvl 21
Vaan: Lvl 19
Fran:Lvl 20
basch: Lvl 19

Is this good enough levels to beat Ba'gamnan. I think so.

BTW I am not good at doing quickining combos..

Hazzard, I was on about if my lvls are good enough to beat him in the Lhusu Mines.

The title says it all.

Oh sorry i get it now, cause you didn't even have your levels up at the beginning.

May i just ask, where do you find Ba'gamnan and his crew in Lhusu Mines?

Formalhaut

yeah since it was late at night (3am!) when typing up and I could not remember the lvls!

You face Ba'gamnan in the location after the twinspan.

Is this the second time round, or the first?

I didnt bother trying to kill that boss, you just get a cut scene of them fleeing when you defeat them and you recieve no loot, on the otherhand the first demonwall is really worth killing:D

i'd imagine if your at level 21 so early you'd have a huge amount of LP and have a lot of HP plus and other useful auguments. it will be pretty tough i guess.

i wouldn't bother doing this but this hyperleveling has prepared you for the optional demon wall.

I was lvl 14....just use mist quickenings on them.....2 rounds should kill him

those levels are good enough for me as long as you can do at least a 10-12 chain combo quickening... he'll be dead in one chain.... i did it myself...

gudkid: I am not good at chains...:(

Hazzard: 1st time round in The mines.;)

Me: Everyone has Javilins.:)

very angry cry: I for some lucky reason have a killer bow and I have not done the Dreadnought yet.. but I have no ammo! Where can I find ammo since I can't go back to Rabanastre.:mad2:

I was mad because I ran away from the dudes without even trying to fight :(

You don't have to beat Ba'gamnan when you fight him the first time. Just run away. Leveling up just so you can beat him is a waste of time, IMO.

I don't see how most people just suggest Quickenings to beat everything. I get like 3-4 hits if I'm lucky. I just license them for the extra MP.

What he said, I think you're menna run away from Bagamnan first fight. Unless... What happens if you kill him? :O

Confound you BALTHIER! *throws stick with sawblade spinning on the ground and it breaks in two* *runs away*

And then you run out of the mines and it has no signifigance on plot or anything to my knowledge.

in that note, yes...

and as what they say, you can just run away and keep pressing on the flee if you want to avoid unwanted confrontations...

but it's a bit of a challenge to fight him and his gang, wouldn't you say?

I tried to fight him at ropughly the same levela and finally concluded it was best just to run.

If you realy have your heart set on beating him, you get another chance during one of the hunts.

You're supposed hold R2 and retreat. With my levels being in the low teens, I tried to fight them, but I quickly died.

On my power-leveling playthrough, my allies' levels were in the high 30's at the time (I leveled up Vaan by himself at the beginning), and I was able to take them on then. Each of my guys had the Gladius dagger, which I stole three of from the Lindbuhr Wolf, a rare game in the Westersand. If you defeat Ba'gamnan himself there, then he doesn't actually die. He and his other bangaa buddies just run away. You encounter him a 2nd time much later in the game on a "fake" clan hunt that you can accept from Montblanc.

nice! you're a boy scout aren't ya? i didn't even bother about stuff like that coz i just give out the all-powerful and ominous quickening chain right then and there when i'm too lazy to do a proper battle...

;p

Well yeah but its nice to beat hard enemys. And you sometimes get the very rare victory dance ( ahh Balthier is so cool when he does it with a dagger..)

So it is nice to whoop ba'gamnan's and his gangs butt in battle. And you feel all giddie with my self when I beat him with no quickinings. (YES!!)
It was abit hard, like the first time in my non-overlevel file I faced Firemane, not to hard not to easy.

So in should I attempt to whoop Ba'gamnans butt? Yes.
