What minigames have annoyed you immensely over your gaming experience?

I'm stuck on the Deku Flower game (second day) in Majora's Mask and I'm just about ready to strangle something. Have tried it at least 20 times...:(

Most annoying minigame experiences...post! And discuss!

The entirety of the 100 Acre Wood in Kingdom Hearts made my eyeballs want to pop out in frustration. And Ritapon in Suikoden IV drove me insane until I figured out how to play it, at which point I played more Ritapon then the game itself! Tsumo!

Beaver Bother in Donkey Kong 64. I beat my fucking head off a bedpost out of frustration when playing that game.

That Chocobo racing game FFx. That's it, I find most mini games fun :D

Yep, the Chocobo balloon race for the Sigil thing was the single most annoying thing I've ever experienced in video games.

FFX Chocobo race. It was about then that I stopped caring about any kind of that "Legendary Weapon" garbage and went and thrashed the final boss.

Definitely not the game in Majora's Mask where you need to stop the counter on exactly 10:00:00 seconds without being able to see the counter. No, not that one, hehehe...hehe...mauahshasdgyguasf. Seriously not that one, I did it my fifth go. Maybe... oh probably Races in Crackdown. Even with Supercar with Guns, they are HARD!

Any of the the RC missions in GTA: San Andreas. The control on those things were so :skull::skull::skull::skull:ty for missions that gave you almost no leeway in terms of time.

Oh, and missions where you have to return a car in perfect condition. The cops always ended up rear-ending me right when I got to my delivery garage. Then I have to take it all the way out to a Repair Shop. That's some BS.

Chocobo race in FFX. Butterfly catching in FFX. Lightning Dodging in FFX, if that counts. Sphere Break in X2. Blitzball. Yeah, FFX wins for annoying mini games.
The "Jobs" in Kingdom Hearts 2 were annoying too.

Catching butterflies in FFX.
I remember the good old days when ultimate weapons were obtained by slaying dragons the size of buildings, or saving people from burning cities, or vanquishing ancient evils. That sort of thing. Rather than catching butterflies.

Given the choice, I'd rather go with the dragons and burning and evil - at least I can achieve that.

Anything that required fully completing the whole weapons thing in X.

Ya, empathy. I couldn't stand blitzball either...

Why do you think the game designers insist upon torturing us with these annoying minigames?

Classic shooters like Gradius have always had the better of me. I can beat them but boy is it a hell to do it...

All the late FF minigames in general. Hate them, and how they're required in order to get stuff you may want.
