Dynasty Warriors 5

Is Dynasty Warrors 5 a good game to buy because
I played Dynasty Warriors 4 at my friends house I
liked it alot but I dont knoe if Dynasty Warriors 5
is good.So what do you guys think should I or should
I not?Also is it a good game?Thanks in advance.

I own DW4 and DW5. In my opinion, they're both absolutely fantastic, but DW5 is superior. However, it's hardly any difference from DW4 at all, so if you want more of the same then get DW5.

My only gripe with DW5 was how they removed the one-on-one duels. I liked those!

Dynasty Warriors 5 is just the same as Dynasty Warriors 4 but with mor characters and cutscenes?

They're all the same, yes. They just look shinier, have better voice acting, and an additional character or two.

I came up with nicknames for all of the characters too. It makes the game slightly more entertaining.

You could in DW4, but I don't bother with create-a-character. I've only played a few minutes of 5, so I haven't gotten to see deep into it.

They should have spawned up Dynasty 5 as the first one.

Right. But LuBu's weapon's the best. Although it makes it kinda easy.
I own DW5 Empires. I wonder what's the Difference between Empires, Xtreme, and regular?

The franchise has definitely jumped the shark in my eyes. It's not that any of the sequels are bad games, they are all great, it's just that they are all the exact same game. The main title comes out, (dynasty warriors, Samurai Warriors) then comes a minor upgrade pack (dynasty warriors/samurai warriors extreme legends) then comes the strategy RPG version of the game (dynasty Warriors 5 Empires/Samurai Warriors Empires). Koei has been milking this series into the ground for the past five years, and I think everyone just wishes they'd reinvent the franchise or do something different.

That said, Dynasty Warriors 5 Empires includes just about all the upgrades, missions, characters, and options that makes the prior games good. So I think it is the best buy out of all of them.

DW5 doesn't have Create-A-Character. Only Xtreme Legends and maybe Empires (don't have Empires) do.

The addition of the Musou Token and a more useful jump charge actually makes Chaos mode fun instead of slow and boring.

It's not much different in other respects, but if you were one for difference and change in between sequels, you wouldn't play Dynasty Warriors anyway.
