Holy Freaking Crap.

I heard about this game a while ago when it was announced, but kind of lost track of it. I saw this video on my favourite Game Import site, expecting to see a Japanese commercial for it. Video starts, I see an ESRB "RP" rating. Didn't click immediately. Eventually, the logo for 'NIS America' comes up, and my eyes widen. It's coming in English!

I'll stop talking and give you a chance to discuss more. For now, do yourself a favour--whether you're a fan of Nippon Ichi or not--and watch the video. Playstation 2 Lives.

Damn, that's hot. It looks like a little bit of Valkyrie Profile with a dash of Disgaea.

Errrrr gain 1000 levels instantly ? I dunno how this game is going to work. If Im walking around with an overpowered team throughout I can see myself getting really bored with the game. Stealing from shops and annihilating towns seems cool though.

Methinks that is a temporary status.

This game looks severely badcore. I must have it!

Quote this for truth, justice, win, epic, and awesome, and the American way.

Don't worry about gaining 1000 levels instantly :p. It's common to be able to powerlevel to the extreme in NIS games :p.

>>> The heroes stealing, and destroying towns? this should be called "8-bit theater" the game..

I would say they're more antiheroes than heroes. Coming from NIS, I wouldn't be the slightest surprised if they made the main character an antihero.
