Just a small town girl, livin in a lonely world
She took the midnight train goin anywhere
Just a city boy, born and raised in south detroit
He took the midnight train goin anywhere

A singer in a smokey room
A smell of wine and cheap perfume
For a smile they can share the night
It goes on and on and on and on

Strangers waiting, up and down the boulevard
Their shadows searching in the night
Streetlight people, living just to find emotion
Hiding, somewhere in the night

Working hard to get my fill,
Everybody wants a thrill
Payin anything to roll the dice,
Just one more time
Some will win, some will lose
Some were born to sing the blues
Oh, the movie never ends
It goes on and on and on and on

Dont stop believin
Hold on to the feelin
Streetlight people

Not a real debate here but you can share your favorites.:)

Pfft....When I saw the thread title, that was the song I was thinking of. So much for that. xD

The funniest ones I've heard are interpretations of Enrique Iglesias' "Hero".

Yeah, that was the song I was thinking of too. =P

R.E.M's "It's The End Of The World As We Know It" is also good.

Elton John and George Micheal - Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me. It helps if you happen to be a short northern bloke singing with a tall southern guy with a beard.

The women in my family always go nuts over doing karaoke on Dancing Queen. Even the shy ones jump out and start singing along. :P

Bohemian Rhapsody is always a good one. For some reason Freddie Mercury is the only one who were ever able to sing that song well.

Pink Floyd - Several Species of Small Furry Animals Gathered Together In A Cave and Grooving With A Pict or whatever the hell those damn hippies called it.

I had to sing 'Stand By My Man' at a friends birthday party, and boy did I feel like I violated my own dignity singing that song. It was rather funny none the less, alot of people were laughing. Considering I'm a guy and singing that song just isn't right.

Yeah that song by Journey is a good song.

What about 'Eye of the Tiger' by SURVIVE . hhaha.
