As was previousally mentioned the Background is fairly good. However, your image that you used for the render is not blended well and kind of sticks out like a sore thumb. However, likely the worst part on the signature is you text. The Font not only doesn't fit well but it also distracts one from the signature quite awfully.

But I have seen worse for a first signature so overall you seem to be on the right track at the moment.

and this is the second

Once again the background is likely the most notable point in the signature. The improvements in this one over the last one are quite nice overall. First the image you used fits with the background much better. In addition the font is not quite as much of a sore thumb as in the first one. However, my recommendation would be another font. The font you are using just doesn't feel right with the kind of backgrounds. You got a firey font on non-firey backgrounds.

Overall I like the first one best because the background is better and while the text and rendering were performed better in the second it wasn't performed better to the degree in which I would favor the less favorable background.

The bgs are very cool. Everyone has their own style, but try to make your sigs glow more.

What system do you use?

Technically, they're too big for EoFF, the height is off by 2 pixels, and CK's will remove it, even though its such a small difference. Rules are rules.

Anyways, the Vivi one is probably the best, in my opinion.

(Don't draw atention to it)
anyway i havent a clue how that happened. i made it 250 pixels high, 252 pixels. anyway i'll have to shrink it.
EDIT: thanks Khaotic. I'll sought it out latter.

They're a bit big, but they're good for a first try. I would suggest saving them as higher quality images, though. The text looks kind of ugly because of the whole jpeg-ness.

Yup...you should try a black BG with dark red instead of purple/violet.

Er...just my opinion but take out the Flare and use some dark red brushes on it.

The black mage
04-27-2007, 07:08 PM
But i like the flare

Polaris
04-27-2007, 07:10 PM
lol but use the flare with another brushes ;) Just to don't be that empty:D

Mirage

Flares are overused and make things look nooby, try to avoid them.

Also, even though they're just within the height limits for this forum, I think any sig that's higher than 200 pixels look bad. Try maintaining a "widescreen" ratio, at least to me, that's always esthetically pleasing.
